  1. Try using a hammer
  2. I thought it required 95ron? But hey, its not a numbers game is it? 36-24-36 is a nice numbers game
  3. Mine stalled at full lock with clutch entirely in while parking (thank god only parking and not doing a freakin U-turn on the Nepean Highway!!!)
  4. I think there is a faulty part in the steering setup which pretty much requires a full replacement of the steering rack, of course this is expensive (for Ford) and time consuming so it wouldnt suprise me that the tried everything else first. I think FORDTECH mentioned something about this a couple of weeks ago. Maybe go through the older posts. Cheers
  5. Gaza, I tried the colour in white option on my tyres and unfortunately its true. I needed a wheel alignment cause I went out of the lines on the left wheels only. Solution drove with the windows down on the right hand side to compensate. With the towbar addition maybe you should consider tinting the front windscreen and or deflating the front tyres a bit and inflating the rears to 60psi. To help shift the weight back
  6. Wouldn't mind seeing a chrome colour ... now where are my sunglasses
  7. Ball park figure?
  8. Wonder what the damage will be for an upgrade? Hopefully affordable for the series 1 guys.

    Aps Phase 1

jeton_s go to http://www.aps-xr6t.com/falcon/phase_i.htm for the details. There is a new product that will be released soon with a new harness go to the Cruises and Events forums for information regarding technical information days. Cheers
  10. Where the hell is Campelfield? If you guys are keen 4 the Dromana Drive in it would be worth cranking a few laps up and down Arthurs Seat - great drive!
  11. G'day Peter, I am assuming that the type of person looking at buying the intercooler would be someone who has already done work to the car eg chip/computer, injectors and fuel pump upgrades? Rather than being an alternative to phase 1 - due to injectors etc, limitations? Cheers
  12. Will check tonight - wouldn't be suprised :hiwelcome:
  13. Hey Guys! I have had my creaking fixed a couple of times and it is not the same thing. It is pissing me off at the moment. Does your car: - take extra effort to turn especially when you start to turn it? - steering feel wooden when moving? I don't think I really have steering shudder (just had the brakes machined) Mine does, I'm also gonna get a suspension check and wheel alignment 2 cause something just ain't right. Anyone else experienced anything like this? Cheers p.s. put your windows down and turn the wheel to full lock on both sides does everyones make a psshhht noise when ya get there? Dont ask me to say that again.
  14. Fantastic, have been waiting for this!!
  15. I had my car stall for the second time in 15000k's first time on a hot day with aircon on 'taking off' from the lights. Yesterday with the clutch in while parking wheel was probably on full lock my car is like a july - august build. It seemed yesterday that as soon as the steering hit full lock the computer shut the car down. Started up again with some beeping noise crakin', hasn't done it since. Would have been fairly dangerous if I was doing a u - banger on the highway or something :( Any ideas FORDTECH? Your help would be appreciated, I rang my service dept. and said try to get it to do it again, hasn't happened, but still WTF.
  16. I would prefer to know who people work for when receiving advice, and I don't believe I should have to ask where you are from. If you are an employee and can't speak to the company, why don't you let your boss know that a debate is being played out and get involved! It seems that you are missing out on opportunity if you don't. The same thing happened with Cuspub of Nizpro in the terms that he was representing the views of Nizpro without many of the forum members knowing who he was representing. I think this issue should be looked into by the moderators IMO. Cheers

  19. What he said
  20. W.Child, had the exact same thing in mine mate. Just take it to your dealer and ask them to fix it. Easy enough to do, infact I took mine into the dealer and was driving the ford dude around to show him the tailshaft noise, and he suggested that my seat was too creaky so offered to take care of it  Good luck - atleast its not the tailshaft
  21. Love the car! Looks like mine except you'v got the bigger wheels. Interesting point about painting the flaps. I've left mine black, the white and black looks good together, dark tinted windows are definite with the car. Love ya taste mate
  22. Phase II is about $5600 - $5700 I think. If you get Phase 1 first then obviously the price drops about $1200 as you already will have the unichip. Your warranty will be pretty much gone if it is related in anyway to the mods. APS offer their own warranty in relation to their parts only. If your worried about your warranty then don't get it. I know I am, so will wait for the expirary. Not gonna wait for Phase 1 though when the plug in comes out. Cheers
  23. Congratulations Peter, 307k's is awesome!

Haven't you got brake shudder yet ken with your premium brakes?
  25. From memory, when looking for my new car I did look at the VY, the tacho/speedo etc is actually smaller than the XR so I don't think it is as clear, especially when in person.
