  1. All I used was kitten #1. I'm a newb when it comes to paint, so I just used a lot of time and effort and hand-polished it with a (relatively) dirty rag to apply the polish and a clean rag to wipe the polish off. Took some effort, but very rewarding, compared to how it used to look. Let's see how long it stays this clean.
  2. Spent about 4 and half hours washing my car, waxing and polishing it (all by hand). Came up pretty good for my first proper attempt at polishing an entire car. Here's some pictures, for all the request's that I'm sure I would get if I didn't post any pictures... Before - After - (I know different doors, but only thought to take pictures half way through this side ) Took some more photo's before the sun went down and I had to head off to a family dinner *sigh* This one doesn't have the roof done, or the curved area above each door. This one the whole side is done, not the roof though. This one, everything in the photo is done, but I REALLY wish you could see how bad it looked on the front-bar before this.. very happy with the result here. Quarter panel and front door, roof and area on top of both doors not done here, but the rest is. This one, only the roof not done Might take some more pics tomorrow if the weather holds off, before it gets too dirty again
  3. Hi
  4. Tab beat me to it, but yeah, I would have said refer to my previous post
  5. I'm no wog, but I do love a good kebab. Tonight's was no exception. Place is called Cafe Kebab in High St Melton
  6. Kebab in Melton, tomorrow night. Very good kebabs
  7. get the feeling that ad for the XR6T was quoting from his dyno graph which was actually measuring the force output (which is entirely possible to provide 11,000 Newtons of Force), but mistakenly thought that it meant Torque, which is measured in Newton-Metres (as we know). Epic fail on his part... need to have the distance measurement factored in to be able to accurately figure out the Torque figure from the given Force figure.
  8. Hi
  9. Hi
  10. LOL at this thread...
  11. My guess is they have the unfortunate situation to be associated with SCT. My brother went there for his old 5.4L V8 for a cat-back exhaust and a tune, and they made it QUIETER than stock and made about 7kW from 98 octane fuel more than the standard tune... Doesn't give me any confidence in their abilities.
  12. Mine's NOT Textralia, if that's what you mean.
  13. They now turn people away shortly AFTER rising the price... now that's a smart business move if I've ever heard one. +1 to all of the above. Top rant, all around. If I only had had to wait 2 weeks, I would have been quite satisfied in my purchase of a brand new clutch kit... It has literally been almost 11 weeks wait time. Their excuses are as follows: Production has has backed up orders, it'll be between 3 and 4 weeks... then at the 4 week mark, another 3-4 weeks. At the 8 week mark, they finally let me know that their metal foundry (or some sh*t related to production of the actual clutch castings) has closed down due to a business going under recently (iron price or some other rubbish) and that has slowed down, that it'll be another 1-2 weeks. At the 10 week mark, it's a "hopefully next week". Opinions on the following options: 1. Continue to wait for this clutch, perhaps indefinitely??? maybe even not make the snowies cruise because of it. 2. Spend another extra approx $500 and go for a Mal Wood Option 5 and have it ready... 3. Spend another extra approx $1000 and go for a Mal Wood Option 6 and probably have it ready also... Keeping in mind that I get my license back on the 14th of October, after literally not having it this entire time I've been waiting, so the wait has literally cost me no time/effort/money so far.
  14. wtf... chair? nothing to sit on... Most of these termination blocks are capable of .3mm to 2mm wire:) yay... if I kill another butt phone, I'll not be a happy camper:) THIS happens often enough for me to be rich from 5c piece compulsory donations.
  15. costs were approx $80 for first night at Tumut, approx $90-100 at jindabyne, approx $90 or so at Omeo (these are all singles costs). If you want to come along with myself (and my two mates), you're more than welcome too. I'm sure you'd get plenty of offers.
  16. This is what I used the tool above for today! Only about 25 pair terminations though, not the 100,000 that are here... lol. EDIT ** fail upload.
  17. Haha, that's legendary, even if your immune system manages to fight it off.
  18. Haha, this is so true. Best one I did was use the battery from my multimeter to track down a pair of wires.
  19. Granted your solution works, but I spend a fair bit of time in the job at termination panels. This makes it worthwhile
  20. finally bought a decent one after my first one was cheap as chips, second reasonably cheap one was crap and snapped the other day, this one is MUCH better...
  21. All booked in for both Tumut and Jindabyne. Just an FYI for you guys, both the Tumut Motor Inn and Golden Chain Elms Motor Inn are both completely booked, ended up booking in at Ashton's (cost a little more, oh well...) Jindabyne Alpine Gables has plenty of space. About Omeo, Gary... called up the Golden Age (Arms???) Hotel and they said that the whole place is booked by some car club... surely we don't have enough people to completely fill that already? (I did tell him that I'm from that car club...) Anyway, I think you'll need to give them a call to straighten them out... Only a few weeks away now
  22. Nobody said anything about actually getting trapped in the car park by the police, but should make for an interesting night. The last one was quite good, the meetup had absolutely zero cops (and surprisingly very few silly maneuvers) and around the 300 car mark.
  23. looks really interesting...who's going to be the guinea pig?
  24. took the opportunity to put your ***** on everything and take photo's for future reference?
  25. How was everybody's grand final day?
