Mate - I did exactly the same thing yesterday when fitting my Monza cooler!!! It's a crack that I hope should be able to be welded. Have you had yours welded yet? I'm in South East Melb - maybe we could get a discount somewhere if they did two of the same job... I think that really it should take a welder 5 minutes to do a spot weld to fix a crack - Would probably need to drive it in with the front bar removed. Cheers.

My car made 252rwkw tuned, and I was surprised that when I put it back to stock tune it made 227rwkw on the second run. Note, that its manual, and had: Centre muffler removed, F6 CAI, K&N. <------------ I beleive that this alone gives you 20rwkw over stock. A VE Clubcport made 225rwkw stock (not run in yet) on the same day !!!!

All I have to say, is that this forum is much better than AFF. There is a lot more open free speech here, and the moderators are not constantly on a censorship route - likely driven by sponsorhsip arrangements. A lot of comments on AFF are deleted or ridiculed when they aren't aligned with opinion of the key few. AFF seems VERY much aligned with Herrod from what I can see....

When XR6T were still fairly new in 2004, a magazine relesed dyno figures that showed that removing the centre muffler and replacing it with straight through pipes alone resulted in a 15rwkw gain. This indicates to me that the centre muffler could be a restriction somehow too ...

I guess the conclusion is that FG is better for mild tuning. Another question: Which is faster BF F6 or FG XR6T? Magazines seem to have them fairly close!

The only resonable solutions are either: a) SCT provides a free swap over to XCAL3. b) SCT fully refunds money to consumers if they proceed to de-activate XCAL1/2. c) SCT provides an XCAL1/2 firmware update to address any issues, free of charge. ie. If SCT beleives that their XCAL1/2 product is no longer viable or inferior, then THEY must rectify this situation at no cost to the end consumer who has purchased their product in good faith. If this does not happen then the consumer will seek refunds from tuner that sold the box, tuner will then seek refunds from their supplier. Simple.

XCAL 2 is still being advertised on some Tuner websites..................... ROFL - This is a fu&ken farce!

Now that these have been discontinued, they will become very collectable! Those lucky enough to have bought one recently, are soooo lucky to have got in just in time!

I got this reply from SCT: Which device do you currently own? Who did you purchase your device from? If you are concerned with the inability to move forward utilizing your device, you may want to speak with your original retailer. In other words, they want us to harrass the place we purchased the Flash box from - in my case CV Performance...
