  1. Have a mate in a XR6T ute coming along also - shaping up to be a cracker
  2. I did mine yesterday (diff bushes) and marked it all up before disassembly. My rear wheels were always (since iv'e had the car) slightly too far to the drivers side (few mm) but never caused any issues with alignments etc. All went back together fine and mesures up the same as before. Guess I could get fussy and square it up then get an alignment - maybe one day as it's not that difficult.
  3. Replaced the diff bushes (3) Big job Tired Going to bed
  4. Check your fuel pressue. Mine had similar symptoms to yours but funnily enough only on hot days and with less than half a tank of fuel (pump was speed was eratic). Replaced pump - all good.
  5. I would advise against stopping in Albion Park to wait for the group. One of the last runs I went on we did this and the cops pulled up wanting to know what we where all doing. It maybe coincidence but there was a highway patrol car doing laps once we got up the top.
  6. The previous Mac Pass runs on a Friday night I have been on have been great - definitely worth it
  7. My BF had the exact same issue. If I "jiggled" the harness that comes from the steering column it would fix it. Turned out to be a bad connection within a small single wire plug the came from the column harness and was located not too far from the fuse box. I believe a crook combination switch may also cause this.
  8. Let me know if the reading you are getting using 221674 is in Fahrenheit
  9. Hmmm, I think I have provided the wrong info earlier in this thread (apologies) I'm using Transmision Temperature(Method 1) and not Transmission Fluid Temp (PID 221674) as first thought. The attached pic shows some of the active sensors (in green) Torque is able to pick up. Notice the trans temp and it's value - taken 2 mins ago from my BF. Hope that helps clear up some of the confusion.
  10. Rydeit, boost works fine. Even had the thing working on our diesel Sanata Fe. Interesting to see fuel rail pressure reach 16,000 psi when giving it a rev - lol To get Ford specific PID's, go to the "Manage Custom OBD2 PIDs" menu within settings, then select "Add predefined set" and select "Ford" That will give you a heap of extra PID's including tansmission fluid temp, fuel level, throttle position, transmission gear and even steering wheel angle (works on my BF) plus a heap of others.
  11. Ebay mate http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181001241925?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 It's gone up a couple of $'s since I purchased but still cheap and works fine with my Galaxy Note
  12. $16 mini ELM327 Bluetooth OBD-II dongle and Torque app for Android ($5 from memory) Has not missed a beat.
  13. I've been on a car allowance for over 23 years and love it. Just keep receipts so you can justify the allowance at tax time. As others have said, you will get taxed on any amount not spent if you have opted to not have your allowance taxed. Some guys at work opt to have it taxed and get it back at tax time if all of the allowance is spent (pay now get back later sort of thing) Just keep in mind that if you claim depreciation on a car for a few years then sell it for more than the depreciated amount, you will get slugged by the tax man on the difference (think I have that right)
  14. Yep that could work. Spotted a crazy black FG F6 on the way home at the top of Kissing Pt Rd this afternoon - best sound from a turbo 6.
  15. I'm in Giffnock Ave (Upstream) in the building directly behind Hyundai.
