They were expensive mate. Checked one day and noticed they had dropped the price so ordered one - picked up the reverse camera to go with it. Just order one as it's a DYI job It's supplied with good instructions and is all plug n play - very simple

Don't be too concerned with the K's especially as the service history is good as you mentioned. Had my BF initially tuned for at a little over 300 rwkw at about 60,000k's mark. Just had it re tuned at 160,000k's after some additional mods and it's now around 340rwkw. As for the diff bush, I fitted Super Pro comfort (3 bush kit) a few years back. Not too hard a job if your handy on the tools and have a trolley jack.

Scrap that - no go with the manifold gasket Ran fine for couple of days and have the cold start idle issue back - not every cold start though. Replaced throttle body this afternoon - let the car sit for a while. Fired it up - same issue. FARK!!

Changed the inlet manifold gasket last night - fun! Been having issues with cold starts and a P2110 error (throttle actuator control system) On some cold starts it would rev to 2k then drop to 1k and run like a POS. Switch ignition of and on then would be fine for the rest of the day. Other times cold starts would see revs fluctuate between 1k and 2k till warmed up - bit all over the shop. Happy to say after replacement it kicked over first go from a cold start to a nice steady idle. Is now running much smoother than before. Guess the giveaway was when the old gasket fell into 3 pieces when taking out.

Picked them up from Bursons and fitted them myself Did front sway bar mount bushes also

Guess I was used to it before due to gradual wear Seems to track better under heavy acceleration

Hi masda74, nothing specific but since replacing them the rear end feels noticeably tighter - so to speak.

Can I Stop Thermo Fans From Running While The Car Is Off?

Not sure why but my fans turn on (low speed) as soon as I turn ignition on - no matter what temp. If temp creeps up to half way then high speed kicks in. Otherwise low speed all the time till I kill ignition. -
I also cleaned my ABS sensors at first trying to fix it - no go. My guess is that a faulty coil pack was arcing and caused a spike in the CAN Bus. The part that really worried me was the ZF jumping into neutral especially as it would only do it under load (plus the speedo cutting out and ABS lights etc) Since replacing all coil packs over 12 months ago it has not missed a beat. If you have a few K's on the car it's worth replacing them in any case.

Mate I had the exact same sequence of faults with my BF. New coil packs fixed it.

I'm still running on the softest setting and cannot get over how flat the car sits around corners. I'll have a play with the firmness over the next few days. Can just squeeze my hand through the wheels to adjust the rears which helps for quick adjustments. If your considering these coil overs you will not regret the decision. -

I should add that mine would only do it under load. Speedo would cut out, dash lights flash, stability control light would stay on and the part that freaked me out most - the zf would jump into neutral. One of the coils must have been arching (or shorting out) and causing a spike in the can bus.

My speedo was cutting out (restart would fix it) and there was also a can bus related error code. New coils fixed it.
