I changed the standard ECU to get over 450kw, had to change some wiring to let it freely control the fuel though. when I had it running correctly it was making 500kw at the rear wheels

Hondas, Nissans, Toyotas, they all do it, what you are meant to do is disconnect both sides of the battery, put something on the brake pedal so it discharges all your circuitry, plug her back in half an hour - a hour later and away she goes, I used to do it to my 200sx with every mod I did, only changed the ECU when it hit 450kw.

do what you want mate, my XR6 turbo has FPR stickers everywhere, GTP interior and maybe soon a XR8 bonnet.

do you have to get a tune after putting a cat back exhaust on? im in the same boat but done want to tune till I have installed FMIC, walbro, valve springs, external wastegate, dose pipe etc. but my car sits in the garage and gets driven once a month!

yeah I thought about that but is it not weird that it is only happening at one join?

I replaced my factory exhaust on my 04 BA XR6T ute (cat-back) with a 2.5" twin pipe, I'm having issues with smoke coming from the first connection after the CAT, would this be the gasket glue I used melting off or would it be something to worry about? any help appreciated, cheers!
