  2. Had mine serviced at ultratune today and got a throttle body clean and for now prob fixed. Got it done at ford cost me $120 and it didnt fix the prob, they didnt clean it good enough or maybe didnt do it at all. Cost me $25 at ultratune, cant believe the price difference.
  3. Yeah I heard the MK 1"s have an issue with the valves springs(not strong enough) aparently been addressed in the MK2 but that's a cost I cant deal with atm especially if it dosnt fix prob. I found with my car when the aircon is on full or I have the foglights on with low beam its worse so I was thinking maybe an Alt or batt prob.
  4. mine even stalls some time when slowing down and changing down gears and the battery light lights up a fair bit because of the low revs. Had error codes checked(no errors) had throttle body cleaned, computer was up to date, tighted inlet & outlet manifolds, cleaned k&N filter, disconnected battery overnite and replaced fuel filter. still have problem
  5. mine is the same ive been told its a manual thing and deal with it. had my throttle body cleaned no change.
  6. Did pedders fix your problem? or is it still clunking
  7. yeah thanks Ill get them to look at it, dont want to replace them if they dont need it
  8. I just had my diff bush done & same prob clunkin worse than before so maybe my CV's are stuffed aswell and is there anyway to tell if they are stuffed or not I wouldnt have a clue by looking at them. Are the CVs part of the axel and a complete unit?
  9. How did ya go?
  10. Yeah Wa Diffs seems to be the way Has anyone used them before?
  11. Yeah you would think so with work slowing down and all
  12. thanks will give them a call
  13. My last service machanic said diff bush was worn (explained why there was a clunk on gear changes) about 50k left in it if I baby it. I want to get it fixed now and wonder if anyone could recommend where to get it done (had a look at the tutorial & I think ill leave it to the experts) went to ford and they said it would cost $1000 depending on any other wear, ultratune said they would do it for $950 and I went to Pedders and they said they use a nolathane bush that's heaps better than geniune with a rear wheel alignment for $813 that's seems the best can anyone suggest otherwise.
  14. Yeah I thought that there would be a section on the site where you could order the stickers, cause Ive wanted one for ages now just thought it would be quicker and easier to get 1 made for myself being in wa and all. but I will buy a back window one if anyone has 1..
  15. I want to get a sticker made for my car and the sticker guy said if I give him the font name or file he can make me one Could someone please tell me what its called or email me the font file thanks My email is srcr@aapt.net.au
  16. mine was doing the same would stall sometimes slowing to traffic lights(manual) took it to ford said no faults where coming up so they tighten the turbo and manifold bolts up and gave it a carbon clean. it was still the same. I read somewhere that you hold you foot flat when you start you car and the engine wont start then take you foot off than start it, its suppose to calibrate the tps not sure if this is true but the problem is gone now no more erratic rpm's
