Hi guys Want some plugs for the t whats best for a stocker should I stick with stock gap as im not getting an edit for a long time. and if so whats the best brand for the cheapest price, probably looking at non iridium plugs as im pretty broke this week and dont mind replacing them in 6 months or so.... Part numbers would be great aswell. Ive used the rexy plugs and they were ok and a really good price. Just some opinions would b great
if it sounds almost like rev limiter but your engine still keeps revving its hard to exlplain exactally what I mean but id change the plugs, my engine did that and I checked in a set of spark plugs and wow power increase was amazing and no wierd noise. Cant really compare to TC as my ute doesnt have it :(
Hi guys as title suggestes, im looking at upgrading soon and would like to hear some point of views... Im looking for a power upgrade and having a ba03 5sp probably better to change to a new car instead of upgrading mine Ie. gearbox valve springs etc.. thought id just go to a bf or something. I was looking at a bf foon with 380rwkw but then my thought that my insurence will only cover me with 1 mod otherwise I will have to go with just cars and there premium is about 3times as much as im only 19. So I thought is there any cars that will have more power than my t stock???? That are under 40k ???? I cant really think of many except for some V8s but there pretty boring. I was looking at TTV8s but once again insurence wont cover me.. Anyone got any ideas???
Its pretty easy im sure theres a thread on here somewhere but I cant find it at the moment. All u will need is a screwdriver a clean rag and a can of throttlebody cleaner which is about $10 from supercheap autobarn etc.... Worse come to worse theres instructions on the can Hope this helps
Ha I think im nearly the winner My first car when I was 17 was an 88 astra(n13 pulsar) I still love it as it had a lsd and it was a 5sp 1.8l..... learnt to get things fixed when there on the way out after I snapped a cv and ended up writing the car off (to many fwd skids lol). Then I bought BIG RED a 1.2L 94 barina I thought it was a massive upgrade from the astra kept that for a year still have it but am in the process od putting it up for sale Then I turned 19 and decided I wanted a real car and bought my 03 5Sp xr6t ute couldnt b happier (unless I get an edit but probably wont)
yeah cheapest option would be the 2nd cai so ill just go that as the cost of the xr8 kit will probably far outweigh the extra power over the std box thanks for your opinions once again u guys have probably saved me money. My T is my first car I actually enjoy spending money on. But then again its my first good car lol Glad the 1.2L barinas gone into retirement
which will be better ?? I already have a k&n panel filter and if I buy the xr8 box ill have to buy a new filter to fit is it worth the extra ??? im leaning towards the Typhoon cai as its less running around any ideas/opinions also car is running stock tune and is basically stock
Ha well basically ill just leave it as there is pretty much no reason to get a wog cooler. When I decide to up the power I think I might just trade in and get a 6sp bf. After this weekend ive decided to spend the cash on a new clutch as mine is rooted Thanks for ure help guys I prolly would have bought it and it have made f all difference
hey guys just wanting to know if getting a monza style IC is worth the hassles, because I already have an F6 IC. Also will there be any performance gains at all. At the moment im leaning against keeping it stock as im not planing on upping the boost or getting a tune anytime soon
Has any one taken their lid off or found a way to repair them. Mines broken on the bit on the lid that clicks it in to hold it down. Is there a spring or something I can take out to get it to sit down or something its just anoying with it open all the time Josh
As the title suggests will these rims fit my car I will probably only putting on the rear for a bit of fun ??? Any ideas the stud patters is correct just not sure about offset.
thinking of doing this but making a pipe form the airbox to the turbo?? would this be feasable and getting rif of the whole x over my knowlege is pretty basic would this be pretty feasable or a waste of time and money also heat wrap help the pipes if I were to do this ???
are the plugs clean and in good nick?? I had major dramas with mine when I bought my T ute and I was told it was everything under the sun till I thought try plugs and after new plugs it was like brandnew again
