my 03 xr6 turbo is making a terrible shuddering /fouling noise when it hits 3000 rpm ive changed the plugs and its still doing it does anyone know what it could be

Hi I have an 03 Ba T when my bovs hooked up properly my car still doses quite loud and when I tryed the bov mod it doesnt make any noise. ive done the mod before and it worked fine and all the hoses are connected properly. Im guessing my bov is stuffed anyone else had this??? My cars running a stock tune. Cheers

I bought some crappy us audio boxes from autobarn for $80 each sit behind the seats fairly well asling as your not over 6ft

Its stock tune exhaust (centre muffler removal) and airfilter being the only mods. 160 000kms on the clock. running with .8 gapped plugs but was doing it with stock plugs aswell. any ideas???

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has any idea why mt 03 T keeps blowing plugs?? only happens when I give it a hard time. Then I replace plugs then its fine till I give it a boot full a few times then it just starts missing again. ANY IDEAS WHY GUYS??? Cheers

Hi guys, Should be easily answered easily but when removing bov do I just block the vac line like where my boost guage hooks up to and if so is there a tidy way of doing this ??? Cheers

yeah it was basically coolant im sure no oil at all

hmmmmmm head gasket really isnt what I wanna hear lol but thanks for ute help guys if its a head gasket would there b oil in the water or water in the oil??? I cant remember which way it goes

really hope its just a hose any other reasons y coolant would b leaking from the back there???

is it only heater hoses at that end of the engine bay that carry water????

yeah its defanetly coolant my reservoir is basically dry but I cant see anything from the sides of the engine

Hey guys got an 03t ute After giving it a hard time steam started pissing out from near the fire wall somewhere any ideas im hoping just a heater hose any other scenarios that may help or anyhting I can look 4???

Hey guys, Just want you opinion on putting dry ice in the airbox to bring temps down?? A mate of mine reckons his mate always does it in his stock T. Doesn't sound very safe to me any ideas??????

Hi Guys I got a 03 Ba T Ute As restraint fault light flashes for a bit then stays on. Any easy things I can check or can anyone help me if I give them the code???

I have aquired a monster tacho and just wanting opinions..... I probably wont put it in as 1: theres nowhere to fit it where it will be legal and look ok 2. there a bit of a tug tug especially because we already have tacho's in the dash also a shift light wouldnt be a bad idea are we able to just hook one of them up????

im surprised someone hasnt come up with a box that isnt vin locked so the tuner can just keep the box and use it on different cars

no spare bolted in the guy I bought it off forgot tell me that but ill have a look as that may be the reason why(spare in tray). should get that fixed oneday......

Hi guys, I have a BA 03 T ute and since ive bought it second hand when driving, when I go over bumps theres this banging noise from the back. I thought it might be the tray liner but even when theres stuff in the back it makes it, I also thought it might be the rods that go across the top of the tub but they seem pretty tight. Anyone else have/had this ??
