  1. black fg f6 street tune went 10.4 on mt's tuned by dennis P.E.T. And box built by andrew at preston automatics. Congrats to all involved
  2. Top effort boys the car is moving what was mid track mph and is this car on meth if so good going. Come on Melbourne
  3. No need for apologies SPIKO, the boys were purely there to test the Ba with the new 2 speed glide/convertor and gear ratio's for the first time, after scrapping the C series gear box, that car has never done a clean wide open throttle full pass from start to finish with all the power the car has previously made due the 3 speed C series trans smashing top gear, it could never display the potential it's had previously shown , the guys for the first ever on that weekend had no issues with the trans breaking, but they did indeed have major traction problems, with the power output of that vehicle verses it's weight the mph is very close, comparing against the dyno figures it produces. I guess they have some work to do with tyres, rear end adjustments and choosing the right day when our drag strips in Melbourne, have more bite compared that weekend, the Matoouk, Karam boys came and saw how difficult it was to display ET's close to there PB's in Sydney. I guess time will tell in the next couple of weeks when they test at Calder park.
  4. Et was 9.5 I will try to get the time slips from Bill/Vele and post a copy of them today sometime
  5. All passes in Citric BA were run in the left lane all day and so did the Team Karam, Mattouks, The half track MPH was 125 on the 163.7 pass, 60ft 1.83
  6. Today at heathcote park race way at the Vl turbo nationals, Australias Fastest citric BA went a whopping 163.7 mhp with major traction issues , also then managed a PB of 9.1 with a 1.5860 foot 126mph mid track and backing off 150mph due to intercooler silcone hose bursting Well Done Bill /Vele cant wait to see this car putting the power down.
  7. All panels are original, full interior with factory premium sound
  8. Well done Bill & Vele also the Gtech Crew off the trailer the car once again struggling to put the power down. 1ST pass could not complete a clean run due last 30-50 meters it split intercooler silicon hose and it still managed a 9.22@153 mph with a 60ft 1.49, the Gtech crew made a trip back to Melbourne re fabricated a new metal pipe, and back it was ready for it's second pass it only managed a 1.52 60ft and as soon as it clogged top gear it snapped a brand new billet C6 input shaft which was custom made for the C9 trans and that was the end of the day again due to internal trans parts that can not with stand the power output this Ba is making. Well done boys hope to see you out soon hopefully with 2 speed glide
  9. well done dave, very impressive looking foward on seeing the progress on this car.. Josh.
  10. dont think its a harsh harsh situation, seen this car a few times at heathcote, and a few engine bay shots in the first issue of the boost mag and seems like there not trying to hide anything thing, but personaly I dont think it means a hell of a lot of what u can see,eg: gas celica just by looking u can never duplicate the same, its what u cant see that counts, but that's just my opinion:-) anyway congrats G-tech very impressive for straight off the trailer, never easy trying to get a full weight ba, running over 150mph, not to mention heathcote. Josh.
  11. yeh the 9.3 by gtech was done on a 11.5 tyre but also raceing fullweight so which makes a difference between the two cars which I think any way. .
