got my dose pipe from rapid today. fits great, I can't believe how loud it is on 10psi!

when I used to run a TT, I had that exact thing happen to me. throttle jammed in 2nd @ 4000revs. luckily the timer had and on/off switch

gotta hate that mate! I drove home from spending the weekend in busselton this morning, stuck behind a wa*ker in a porsche 4wd doing 10 under the limit in the overtaking lane, and wouldn't move! then the same thing but with a 6ltr SS.

to get the flutter, buy a straight pipe (from super cheap or something) and run that off the crossover with a pod filter at the end. (where your airbox sits) too easy also with that small pipe, that's your vaccum line, don't leave it open just block the end of the pipe with a screw and tie it shut with some tape or some straps

hmm you might have to be a bit more specific man, but my advice to you would be to get rid of that sh*tty stock bov and just buy a new one! easily solved

ended up taking most of the pipes off under the hood, checking for any blockage and put em back all nice and tight. changed a rubber joiner that looked a bit worn and all works sweet now! now heres some more Q & A I've got a 3inch exhaust im gonna chuck on (just from the cat back) im aware I'll need a retune (im getting a custom tune in a few weeks) is it safe to chuck it on, and drive around until my tune, or nay?

it's a generic tune but the dude who is going to do a custom tune on it in a few weeks unlocked the box for me. when we unlocked it we fiddled with the generic tune a little (boost comes on stronger, etc) the car ran awesome - extremely happy with it but now no power! I cant go back to stock!

will do Thommo. alright now heres a weird one for ya. im running a 10psi tune, which runs sweet I've been using it for about 2 weeks. on the way home just before, it only reaches max 5psi now I've checked for any boost leaks and couldnt find anything, its just maxed out at around 5psi. any idea what this could be? boost sensor or something? I've also re-loaded the tune to no avail so it has nothing to do with the tune

DRTYBOOST, just ordered my pipe off chris thought I'd let the perthies know first also im selling my radar detector. its an escort X50 model. with the blues lights. definately one of the best on the market, and has saved my ass on numerous occasions! $350

thought id post a solution seeing as the thread didnt end! when you plug in the box, you select which tune you want then turn on the ignition. the box will then start to flash, then flash 1,2,3,4 (might flash for a while depending which model you have, my BA tends to take a little while) now once its stops flashing 1,2,3,4, it will start blinking all at once. THIS DOESN'T MEAN ITS FINISHED, as of my understanding when its flashing 1,2,3,4 it's downloading your factory tune, then when it starts blinking, its actually uploading your tune. I found this out when I changed tunes and my car wouldnt start. I was then patient for a bit and waited til the box stopped all together. hope this helps anyone!

I have the same ones man and mine fit fine, I installed alys one into my brothers car and it didnt fit though, on the right hand side when the cover is removed you can see a thin metal flange that's stopping it from sitting right, I just cut it off with some snips and it fit like a glove

where did you get the pipe made up drtyboost? im running just over 10 pound now and can't wait to hear it!

a quick question, any of you guys running a dose pipe? I put one on a while ago but took it off cause I didnt like the noise (stock boost) now I'm boosted up a bit so I was thinking of having a play with one, question is have any of you guys run one, and does it affect your power much?

you shouldn't have to weld it anywhere man, I'm pretty sure the monza ones come with 3 different adaptors? remove the stock BOV from the top of the crossover, block it off and attach the monza to the lower inlet on the crossover. and

hey guys, had some aweful noises coming from my car today, turns out I have a power steering leak. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow, just wondering what sort of power steering fluid I should fill it up with? I'm guessing a ford liquid, but could I find something at super cheap?

take off the stock bov and block the top inlet you might have to buy some pipe to fit the Blitz bov to the bottom inlet on the crossover. that's it basically it mate!

I'd be keen on a larger coloured sticker, just make sure you message missXR in advance though, because I ordered stuff once and it took months!
