FG Turbo just done 30k service plus a set of new tyres, car going strong as a train.

Just did a 2000km a round trip from Sydney to Gold Coast and I got 9.5L / 100km. The car boot loaded to the max with 5 people also doing the trip. The car has just over 16000 km.

My T has done just a little over 1300km and so far it is averaging about 12.6L/ 100kms. The driving has been a combination of local and highway driving. My BA T used to average about the mid to high 14's for similar driving. So with a saving of about 2L/ 100kms I am quite happy with the result so far. Hopefully it will improve further as it loosens up a bit more.

I have the FG in silhouette my first ever car in black absolutely love it but gees yes you can sure see the dust on it. Just put black number plates with silver writing to set it off looks good also.

Thanks XRT-16, mate I love maccas to, been know to eat the odd one behind the wheel, so I know what you mean. Just holding my breath at the moment, the wife just decided to go for a drive, offered to go but she said it will be fine.

thanks, it was a bit that I had to draw the line somewhere. The cloth seats actually look not to bad, better then the photos. Thanks, early days, I really haven't tried her out properly only 54km so far, but I must say the steering feels very positive it reacts very well. So far so good.

Hi all, just picked my new T today. Thought I share some photos just taken as it was getting dark. Inclusions are Technology pack, Premium sound, side air bags, 19" inch wheels, tow pack and tint. Early days but the drive home was very nice to say the least.

Congratulations Hustler. I also got a call from my dealer and told me my T has arrived. Tint tomorrow etc, rego Friday pickup Monday next week.

Pat, thanks for the night must say I also loved the GT E and that F6 is something else that is one awesome machine. My feeling is that F6 will become a collectors car.

Pat, thanks very much for the test drive of the T the other day. Having owned a BA 6T which I enjoyed very much I have to say that the new FG is definitely few more levels above the BA. Leaving the driveway you could tell you were in a very serious car. Love the new interior and although I am not the lightest person around I found the seats to be supportive and comfortable Good luck with sales of the new car.

Got to see the adds tonight at a dealer launch and must say that they are different and I would rate all right although my wife liked them even more then I did which from a marketing point of view is pretty good because they have a large influence in the decision making.

Looked at all the colours and at the end couldn't go past silhouette, looks very tough.

Anyway guys bit the bullet today and pressed the go button with the leasing company on an order for a new FG XR6T. I should know in a few days or so what the wait will be.

Pat please put me down plus one other. And thanks for showing me a few cars on the lot the other day.

I agree with 1 to 5 when I hear a V8 I always think how good is that. But when I get into my BA Turbo it never fails to to make me happy which I've had now for 5 years. Originally it was a 4 year lease but loved it that much I extended for another year. I am basically ready to order a new FG Turbo but the V8 did cross my mind but only for a minute. Plus after talking to Pat (Senna) he helped make up mind even more to stick with the turbo. Let me tell you it surprises most people who are into eights when they pull along side one or have a drive of one.
