  1. 71 cuda Here is probably the best of them all, Joe Rogans "Sick Fish"
  2. its an APS fuel pump mounted on an aps stamped bracket
  3. the problem with that kit is the rears are only 303mm. May aswell keep the BA standard rears and paint them. I have seen them on ebay fronts only for $1100.
  4. mate, I follow ebay closey and infact I had one of these in my car recently that I took out also. I sold mine for $160 18months back but it had the complete loom and plug is adapter(ie no need to have it spliced in) but have seen them on ebay go for as little as $50. Good luck with the sale, alot of people use these as door stops now.
  5. nice rims, but that angle of the second photo plus the fact you have parked on a bit of a hill looks like you XR6T is a bloody 4WD with a 1 inch lift
  6. I have seen the the BA premos/FPV front calipers refered to as both C5 and C6. They were used in the 97-00 corvette C5 hence the reference to C5. The Pads I got right now are actually labelled for corvette but any decent brake shop would work out what pads you want if you say you have Falcon BA premium brakes. Having had BA std, BF XR6T's and now currently BA premos, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that BA premos sh*t all over the BF fronts. Get the premos if you can. You could source those PBR ebay kit for $1100 and brand new BF rears with rda slotted rotors for ~$650 from racebrakes. Althought I did price that a few months back now. oh and btw The pbr FPV BA rears were also 303mm
  7. paypal is almost instant. If they dont see it in their account, then something is definitely up. Are you sure its the correct seller/username? Contact ebay/paypal if you cant sort it out. The reason to you paypal is for security. Yes as soon as you make a payment the money cones off your credit card, but that doesnt mean its deposited into theirs, paypals holds it as such. If you havent recieved the item, you can always make a claim and have the money returned to your account.
  8. spotted a black T today with heaps of signage on it cruising along victoria rd. Saw the plates STD-10S . From memory its a CV produced car which ran 10s lol

    My New Toy

Very nice boat, they say the day you pick up your boat is the second happiest day of your life. The first is when you sell it.
  10. grapes
  11. he has a BA, from what I have seen here BF's tend to pull alot more with less compared to the BA's, so comparing your car to his is not right imo. Plus ofcourse other factors like different dyno's, weather, shootout mode etc
  12. that's a great suggestion ratter thanks, never knew that was possible. Im on the hunt for a new tuner at the moment, so what dynos have the capabilities to do that?
  13. I dont have a GPS on my phone, got a farkin iphone and dont wanna pay tom tom the $99 fee for the app. Might have to hunt somebody with a GPS as I dont think I would have been going 119 when I was goin 110 judging by the flow of traffic around me. So maybe the odometer is out. Maybe that is why I get crap fuel economy. Lucky to break 400km per tank on city driving.
  14. Very american but how can you go past Chris Rock
  15. its reading 920
  16. Well I was driving down to Canberra on the weekend and I passed those speedo check signs on the side of the road. The ones that start at 0km and go to 5kms. I was about 80meters less as each kilometer passed as a rough guess. Done the test 3 times and was roughly the same each time. I changed my rims from the stock 17's with 235/45/17 to BA GT 18's with 245/40/18 but I wouldnt have though that would have made a difference. So how much is my speedo out? When Im doing 110km/h what is my real speed? I dont have a GPS or access to one either so cant check that way
  17. why do people think the BF brakes are the BA premiums. I can tell you they are not. I have had both on my car and know the setups well. Firstly the BF's have a 322mm rotors with the same standard caliper as the run of the mill BA. The BA premiums and FPV PBR's run a 325mm rotors and different caliper. These rotors are also more expensive than the BF 322mm rotor due to not being commonly bought and therefore not commonly supplied item.
  18. The could be lots of things wrong. Start with the basics like -spark plugs regapped to .8mm -boost leak from there come trickier to diagnose problems -coils faulty -fuel pump rooted -fuel filter partially blocked -O2 sensor playing up Have you had it on a dyno to see what the boost and AFR's are like? Is that 10psi tune generic or custom? Take it to Ford or a tuner and see what codes come up.
  19. its a bit of a wake up call me, I just got a new iphone and am addicted to using it....even while driving.
  20. is it my imagination or is this car for sale on ebay at the moment? Good luck with the sale if it is, pity you have tyo sell it before you can really enjoy it.
  21. they're different calipers and surprisingly different pads aswell
  22. if the calipers are bare and not powder coated black with FORD lettering or blue with FPV lettering, I dare say they are standard fronts.
  23. poorboys bold and bright. Wont get it from a store, have to get it online. Comes in different sizes 473ml to 3.8L http://www.waxit.com.au/proddetail.asp?pro...0013&cat=30 on the plus side, a recent test by some detailing nut on a forum I frequent comparing several tyres shines for longevity both water based and silicone, PB came out on top(subjective ofcourse)
  24. are the elipitcal grooves front and rear?
  25. take it to pedders and have them do a check on the car. Will cost about $28 but its good to get a second opinion. Either that or find some place you trust or has a good rep.
