true everything is collectable, but collectable in terms of being the next GTHO. No way. At their high point a GTHO was sold to close to $1M or roughly 200 times its original retail value. I just dont see cars made in the 90's and 00's which are so massed produced rising in value(even with the passage of time) to higher than their original vale or ~$60-70k. Cars today are next years superseeded model. HSV have a alot to answer in regards to this. The release a slightly more powerful model every year, thus killing the used car values of older models. FPV dont do it as badly as they only increase power every second or third year but still. In my opinion, the last true collectable Aussie muscle car that is rising in value would be the Group A walkinshaw. Unique car in limited numbers with racing heritage.
