  1. its hard to help you diagnose the problem when all you say is "it runs like sh*t".....
  2. just watched it, how good was that road. IMO they didnt do enough scenes of that road and them going hell for leather but the rest of clip was fuinny.
  3. Mike's Step By Step Guide To: Replacing Spark Plugs is that enough help on how to do it. As for gapping, just get pre gapped plugs
  4. true everything is collectable, but collectable in terms of being the next GTHO. No way. At their high point a GTHO was sold to close to $1M or roughly 200 times its original retail value. I just dont see cars made in the 90's and 00's which are so massed produced rising in value(even with the passage of time) to higher than their original vale or ~$60-70k. Cars today are next years superseeded model. HSV have a alot to answer in regards to this. The release a slightly more powerful model every year, thus killing the used car values of older models. FPV dont do it as badly as they only increase power every second or third year but still. In my opinion, the last true collectable Aussie muscle car that is rising in value would be the Group A walkinshaw. Unique car in limited numbers with racing heritage.
  5. As much as I love my T and the F6. To answer your original question, none of them will be collectable imo. As for this little statement. If this is a quote, then TG must be on drugs. The F6 is just a tarted up family sedan/taxi. Its not even a true sports car. Then to say its the best in the world under $100k...pft. In the USA they sell M3's for US$60K and M5's for US$90k. I know which car I would prefer if the choice was F6 or M5
  6. I may be interested depending on what time you guys meet and leave
  7. saw 2 FG F6's today while working on the SH bridge. First was a white ute then a black sedan both with Dark Argents...
  8. my money would be a a stuffed/weak wastegate actuator
  9. just get a cheapo one. You wont notice the difference
  10. bunna I think works for ford, hence his comment. forddriver1 have you thought about taking off the black plastic strip just under the lic. plate for that real big mouth effect? Thought I might get you to be the guinea pig before I give it a crack.
  11. I like it. How did you do it, just saw it off? Ive been scouting ebay hoping to find a grill in my colour so I can do the same thing.
  12. not knowing a thing about that camera, but why dont you just buy a card reader compatible with vista and just remove the memory card from the camera and put into the card reader to extract all the photos. Card readers are like $20 or less from an PC place
  13. So is 2x2.25" the stock system size?
  14. yep cool, thanks guys, bought 1m hose from Autobarn just then and it dumps just below the battry
  15. hmmm ok so the line just under the cap I presume is not needed. but Ive seen some photos with cars with standard turbos that use the line. So they must just run the line somewhere below and out of the engine bay just as a drain?
  16. It may be posted somewhere but cant search the forums or interweb ATM due to being capped and every page taking ages to load.... So I bought a second hand PWR Alloy Expansion Tank and went to install it. Noticed the alloy one had 3 little hoses and 1 big hose. The standard plastic one has 2 little hoses and 1 big one. So 3 into 4 does not go...what gives am I missing something simple here?
  17. nah Ive had these on since the last cruise. I actually changed pads from those SBS carbon ceramic ones to just the plain Bendix HD pads. The SBS are an awesome pad and the stopping power was 3 times better than the bendix but I got sick of the noise coming from them in stop start traffic.... I might put them back on just for tomorow nights run though if I could be bothered.
  18. racebrakes sydney supplied my PBR lines for $150 for fronts. As for feel, its hard to say as I replaced caliper, rotors, pads and lines and bled them all at the same time so ofcourse it was different
  19. hmm I sent a PM but only paid yesterday so probably not in your account yet
  20. Looks like Im coming along also. As for CB, what model doesnt matter, as long as it works and picks up channel 17 or 18
  21. I got 18% all round, which is kinda dark but Im still getting used to it. Definitely kept the heat out on saturday. He basically talked me into it but I have no regrets but he can also show you 25% and 35% for a comparision although I bet you will walk away with 18
  22. get a new tuner then as it sounds like they dont know how to tune a XR6T with those injectors. Ive got the same ones and with the car park they call Sydney motorways Ive never had an issue with stalling as has several hundred people who have these injectors on these forums
  23. wow this is such a hard mod to do. I just wrecked a tail light I got by first using too much heat, then applying too much force. Lucky I got this pair of light from ebay for $10 and a 10minute drive. Some hints as I practised on this set before I go a buy another pair of light(if anybody has got some let me know) Firstly take the chrome garnish off before putting it in the oven. I used a stanley knife to "cut" the sealent a few times before prying it off with a flathead. Pry and cut between the red lens and black bit as in photo. Dont put it in the oven like I did for too long. I first put it in for 5 mins on 100C, then when that didnt work I cranked it up to 15C for 15mins. This melted the lens and it sorted melted the lens inwards a bit on the clear bit and red bit so its now concaved(doesnt matter as I broke the lens anyways). Any other hints from people who have done this easily?
  24. Im undecided about colour. Blue for a blue car is what people would get right?
