  1. Im from NSW, it is the Premier state
  2. same username on both forums, I like AFF sometimes as I like looking at a heap of different cars not just XR6T's
  3. I had that thought when I first got my car custom tuned. Got a 14psi tune for weekends and a 10psi tune which I would use for my daily duties and for when my misses drives my beast. Did it for a week after that I cbf'd taking the 2mins it takes to flash change it and have kept it at the 14psi ever since. Once you get use to the power, loosing the power is a major disappointment. With 14psi you learn to feather the throttle more and hardly ever step it out in the bumper to bumper Sydney carpark/traffic

  5. yep sounds like a wastegate problem to me. Either the actuator is stuffed or the flap is being held open thru a dodgy weld within the housing. Heard of it a few times now including my own issue 12months back. On the dyno it would be like this
  6. hahhah way too much effort. I aint dating her anymore I married her, I think I may aswell have another girl
  7. Whats the secret Nick, I have 2 girls and want a boy next. I told my misses she needs to injest my fluid orally and that would do the trick next time round, but I dont think she believs me.
  8. Hope this is OK to post here. I would rather someone take them as opposed to being wasted. 4 tickets to 19/5 and 21/5 shows Anyways I cant go to tomorow nights filming or this thursday night filming. Both start at 5:45. Free tickets or if you want buy me a 6 pack. You need to come and pick them up from Blacktown from me as being sent by post wont work. Anybody interested?
  9. I take it you got the mechanical boost/vac gauge and the Air/Fuel ratio gauge 6175? Let us know how you go installing them as I got the same gauges on order coming from the US very soon and I'd be damned if I had to pay someone to install them
  10. damn car is sold, and at that price I was really interested
  11. have a talk to the guys at Autotech, only at granville. Save having to drive over an hour to get there if you have issues or need to go back
  12. anybody keen to go to the filming of this either on the tuesday the 19th of may or thursday 21st of may. Ive got 4 tickets for each show and have been trying to get tickets for ages but the timing is such that I cant go to either and neither can my mates. I aint gonna sell these because they were free to begin with but a 6pack of tooheys wouldnt go astray for a bit of a swap..
  13. Yeah Ive got a surging issue also. Over the past 6 months I have changed valve springs, Coils, spark plugs (twice), fuel filter, got different fuel from several servo's, been back to a reputable(forum sponsor) tuner 3 times and they claim to have solved it opn the dyno but havent. Only thing that did fix it for a short time was getting new coils. Fixed it for a week, but then again it could have been all in my head. Im thinking its my gearbox but only in 2nd gear(ofcourse I have no basis on that just that it happens only in 2nd gear from lower rpm WOT. After tax time Im going for second round of power mods and a new tuner, hopefully may solve the issue Good luck hunting it down and let us know if you figure it out
  14. if its the battery, when you drive home from work tomorow get a volt meter across the terminals and check the voltage. Then in the morning check voltage again to see if its holding the charge overnight. If its dropped significantly get a new battery
  15. crackle
  16. saw a undercover orange phoon pull over a corolla on the M4 this arvo.
  17. drunk
  18. all these cars you mentioned to me are proper sports cars(well all except the monaro). I got my T cause I wanted a quick car but also be able to have a large boot and 4 doors to get my wife and 1.7 kids in(soon to be 2.0)
  19. yeah not bad, alot better than the first season. Ive got tickets to watch next tuesdays show but found out they take 2 and a half hours to record the thing hhmmmm.
  20. had a great time on this cruise, thanks to Reg for organising it(and letting me follow him on the way home). Just a shame about the 4wd on the way up and the ghia on the way down mac pass.
  21. 296kw here on a standard box, although all the gear changes have been firmed up. Been running that power for almost 12months and no dramas yet(knock on wood). I did get it serviced, new fluid and filters, but that is about it. I probably should get a tranny cooler which I guess is on my shopping list next.
  22. movie
  23. you can get a handheld CB for about $40 from DSE or places like that , that have about 2-3k range. Good enough for the cruise. Although if you are too far back you may not hear the cruise leader considering there is about 25 starters
  24. saw a blueprint T with the plates DF00RD broken down and being pushed across the intersection at seven hills road today. Kinda dangerous for the dude pushing as he pushed from the right hand lane to the servo across 3 lanes. then around the corner from my place at Blacktown saw a T ute in the most original paint job Ive ever seen. Looks like a silver base with what looks like white/lighter sliver clouds about 25mm wide repeated all over. Definitely alot has gone into the paint.
  25. so the sticker in the first post is th 100cm full screen?
