  1. The new housing with the bigger flapper was about $750 but, this still needed to be ported which I didn't find out till Simon from Extreme realised he couldn't get the boost out. This left me having to remove the turbo again and Turbo Tech were going to charge me for porting it, but a few stressed words from Simon ment the job was done for free . Make sure Simon checks yours before reassembly :cuddle:
  2. No mate just the standard one
  3. I had to buy a new housing and got the one with the bigger waste gate but, It still needed to be modified. I didn't find this out till Simon from Extreme tried to tune it. Thankfully Simon made Turbo Tech fix the problem for free and also re-tuned the car for free. Hey "Dmosconi" If ya want some help with the kit or just a brain to chew send us a pm will be happy to help im in Wanneroo.
  4. Hey mate I just recently fitted this same kit and also did the mod on the turbo, after some research I found that most people use Turbo Tech to do the mod on the exhaust housing, Extreme Ford being my tuner also suggested he would use Turbo Tech. If you want to remove the turbo yourself it will only cost about $460 including a heavier actuator. Simon at Extreme Ford also asked that he set the pre load on the actuator as it's really painful to adjust on the car, so I suggest you run this past your tuner!
  5. Well Fordriver I made very similar to you 298.5 at 14psi that is with standard internals, can you post a graph to compare
  6. Hey Mercury I just recently had my car tuned to 300RWKW on standard springs (03 BA) but I think if I had done the springs it would have made more power and also the power curve would have been smootherIf anyone is keen to go halves in the atomic tool to change the springs I will be happy to do so.
  7. The cops are way to busy hooning around catching hoons.
  8. I have a brand new Malwoods T56 which is supposed to be blueprinted and it is just the same. Something to do with idle quality which is why a/c affects the noise. Try putting 5 litres of transmax z oil in, only problem is it only comes in 4 litres
  9. Congrats on the new wheels Kael. Cant wait to see some pics or even better bring it round for some chop!
  10. Seen a black ute, number plates EZY AS, in Wangara, anyone from here?
  11. I can't wait.. My Rapid cooler version 3.5 is on its way and while I'm at I will do the flapper mod.Has anyone got a turbo exhaust housing I can use to get modded, which I will replace with mine, just so I can hurry the process up.This way the car is off the road for a day not a week.I also have a battery, which is only 3 months old, that will be replaced in the process.Should be worth a carton and I will even dig out the reciept to prove it.Any help will be paid for in cartons just to help stimulate the working mans economy
  12. Cheers to the three that made it to the finish and DNF for the rest of you!

  17. Nice work on the photos Phyber Hope ya catch me sometime soon as I still cant seem to get a pic of my car on here. Definately missing my training wheels
  18. I split a cylinder after fitting a 3.5" exhaust and running a 10psi tune. Apperently the free flowing exhaust allowed it to build even more boost and without injectors it just leaned out.
  19. Nice ride! I'll drive it to kal 4 ya!
  20. Nothin better than a hill to wind up some boost
