good one fellas you should know by now that they can say what they want but when we do it we get banned or the thread gets locked

might be a good idea to get the facts right before running your mouth off

on the turbo side near the heater hoses there's a plug that plugs into the head. these wires run across the back of the head into the loom near were the bov sits. the wires have a plastic cover so you have to unplug the sensor and pull the plastic back and have a look at the wires. dont be fooled by the plastic cover being ok the wires inside are only thin mine had got that hot they melted and had to be soldered in 4 places.

mine had similar issues a couple of weeks ago I changed the coil packs,tps and spark plugs was still no good. Ended up being 2 wires that run behind the head to a cam sensor near the heater hoses had got too hot and melted the wires.

I have an 04 ba and put a rapid v2 kit on and did injectors and gutted the cat and she made 301rwkw @ 12psi. I think it really depends on your car

back to square one again cars doing it again with the new tps if you reset it its good for about 10 mins then starts playing up again. im over it may try and reset the ecu and see if that does anything car

fixed it to day got rid of the missus! nah only joking put a new tps in started the car then reset the new one and went for a spin. went good then started again so I pulled over and said to the car im gunna trade you in for a holden. reset the tps again and she didnt do it again went down then bumpiest road I could find on the bumps stops for about a 1km no drama's. took it out on a back road pulled some 6 grand gear changes all sweet. thanks for the help guys

thanks for the replies thought I had it fixed went sweet for about 15 mins of driving turned the car off picked the missus up hit sum bumps and it started playing up again so I think it must be the tps thingo or the car dont like the missus :hyper:

Hi guys have a problem with my ba turbo started surging saturday night like it was dropping a cylinder. Everytime I went over a bump it would surge now it has progressed and is happening while driving it plays up like its going to stall then comes good. I replaced the coil packs this morning and no better so I replaced the fuel filter and have cleaned the throttle body. it has new plugs and I had a walbro pump put in about a month ago I also reset the tps 3 times no better loaded a softer tune in was a little better not much. anybody got any ideas before I torch it

I think your right depends on the car I have an 04 auto with stock springs and its running 305rwkw at 15 psi

I have 19's they reckon it should drop a bit more when it settles

sorry to be a pain mate, but you would happen to know the part numbers? hey had mine 04 phantom lowered yesterday with sl and ssl and the part numbers on the invoice are front KFFL-57SL and the rears KFRL-68SSL hope this helps

you made the right choice weeeeeman you will be more than happy and it wont cost you an arm and a leg like most places.

I want as much as I can get out of it safely im gunna buy the rapid v2 cooler kit do the injectors,cat and valve springs and what ever else it needs and then will see how it goes then might do a stall converter. I only bought it a month ago so im waitng for the warranty to run out then I'll start modding it.
