G'day, Ive got a 2004 BA MkII XR6T with 160,000 K's on the clock and recently when I have gone to overtake or something and the car has hit full boost, the revs have jumped up around 250-500 Rpm and then settled back to the appropriate level as the car accelerates. Obviously it sounds like the clutch is slipping, I just find it strange that once it slips, it is gripping again without any modulation of the throttle. I would have thought once it had slipped, the only way to stop it would be to remove some of the torque? Thoughts?
