One of the error codes that came up had to do with boost, so it may be a loose hose. It only happens sometimes if it is hot. Each time it has happened to me I had already driven over a 100km. So maybe something is expanded heat. The service department will give me a ring at lunch time to let me know what they found.

OK. They looked at it and found some error codes around the turbo boost, wiring and stuff. Please excuse the mechanical incompetence. It has to go back tomorrow for more investigation. :(

I had a quick search, but haven't found anything yet that sounds like my Problem. Here it is. When driving a couple of weeks ago I decided to plant my foot to the floor. The car accelerated and then nothing. It revved between 3 & 4 grand but there was no power. As soon as I took my foot off the accelerator it stopped and worked fine. A minute later when I tried to accelerate it did it again. Took it straight to the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong. The other day it happenned again only worse. I had already driven about 500km and was nearing the end of the trip. Seems to happen when the car is warm already and only if I stomp on the accelerator. The engine just seems to rev at a certain level but put out no power. It scared the sh*te out of me yesterday, when I was passing someone and it just seemed to stick. Can someone help me out with what might be doing this? I would like to have some idea before I take it back to the dealer. Thanks in advance.

So who watched it? What happenned? I heard he was complaining of a bad ankle nefore the fight.

I watched the same clip via a link on this site. I remember the drivers also praising various aspects of the T. I think some of the comments could be taken with a grain of salt. I think as proved by some members that the T has a huge performance modification potential. And yes Chris's car looked great.

Ha ha, at least you cant acuse them of false advertsing for including options in press pics. Although you would think by the time the F6 is released, the luxury pack would be an option. Congrats on becoming a mod by the way, good stuff mate You would think that the luxury instrument cluster would be standard.

It's been a few years since I worked up there, but yes chains are compulsary to be carried on alpine roads. You only need to fit them in adverse weather conditions ie snow , a decision made by the parks guys. I don't know about chains on your 17"'s though. When/if you fit them travel for about a km, stop and tighten them up. As an aside if you have an alarm of some sort turn it off or you may come back to a flat battery with heavy snow.

My T is now 2months old. I have had 2 unscheduled trips to the dealer for different intermitent problems. Niether of which would repeat themselves for the dealer.

Would like to see this one. I wonder what the timing will be. September anyone?

Just looked at the colour palate plate at the dealers and photo's don't really show it up the same. I would like to see it on vehicle before I decide though.

Yep fair enough stand for him to take. I also agree with other comments, McGrath for one that the big decision of to tour or not to tour should be made by the ACC, ICC and/or the Aust govt. It was ok to boot them out of the Commonwealth and hearing a report on a speach of Mugabe's the other day he doesn't want to come back. I think that the Mugabe govt is very dangerous for his people both white and black. Maybe if someone dicovered a sh*tload of oil there the west would be more interested in removing him.

Who sits in the back? Not me so I don't care. If you want to you can get a boot liner as an optional extra. I think it reduces the noise.

Thems some big words. This thread has taken me awhile to plough through. I agree and disagree with many opinions expressed, but am much happier to get into a political/social debate over a beer or two. I type way to slow to reply about half of what has been said. Interesting stuff. This more about speed camera's than rd's. I was on the Hume yesterday and came around a bend to see a RTA station wagon parked in the emergency stopping lane with the tailgate open. The bloke was sitting on his back bumper reading a paper. It must have been a mobile camera. I think NSW are testing them at the moment. What I want to know is how can they get away with being parked in an emergency stopping lane with no signage or flashing lights at all? If someone lost control this bloke and his car would have been toast. Also if/when they bring these into operation will they reduce hwp budgets for the cops? Before anyone asks, yes I was travelling above the limit. When I pass the hwp guys I wave and they sometimes wave back and that's that, but this camera would have done me. Bloody pain the lengths the govt is going to reduce speed and get revenue. oops an opinion.
