  1. The new calculator is 90% done and so far the allowance formula that I have added for man trans seems to be pretty spot on. Stand by.

    BRAKE SHUDDER ISSUE

Yes Rotors can get run out "warped discs” which are felt under braking, however due to the set up of both the BA & BF’s front lower control arms and your driving style the bushes throughout the control arms get severely worn around 60 - 70 K's. Tell tale signs of the bushes being worn are slight “wheel balance needed feeling when driving” and of course the whole warped disc brake shudder feel on braking. If you replace your rotors and this problem still is there you’ll need to got down to your local suspension workshop and get a quote on replacing the bushes. Also while your there ask about getting your diff bush checked as well cause that bush cops a beating deluxe!
  3. Sorry all been smashed at work last couple of days! the new and working version will be up hopefull within a week!
  4. Wow I'm hooked can't wait till the next installment!
  5. JP was looking to import some of these would you be interested? Nitto Tire - High Performance Tires for Car and Truck Enthusiasts Maybe a group buy idea!
  6. Whoa Rhino mam settle down brother! Remeber your've got an FG to start with we've seen a lot of them dip into the 12's stock! Mr shockwave and I were dicussing the diff's on manual to Auto mate not who had the biggest D**K! At no stage did I attack Aaron's driving skills I was mearly intersted as to why only a 12.6! But once my suspicions were confrimed which was that it's manaul then all made sense! What was your 60fter Mr Rhino?
  7. Yeah big diff between man & the ZF down the 1/4! Rolling starts a lot diff. I'm actually chasing 12.20's in june with the same power (351 rwhp) but with a slightly more agressive map in her! What was your MHP (on the non braking runs)?
  8. Dear Mr shockwave your BF must be manual yeah? Reason I ask is I've got Xr6 T with only has had injectors, a flash and a tune (351 rwhp) and just last wed night at WSID I ran a 12.59 @ 112 mine being a ZF. Not rtying to rain on your parade or anything but there was 2 other T's out there one with 360 rw and another with 330 and both of them were manaual's and the best time between them was a 13.4!!!!
  9. Not really mate.. usually the better the pad more the dust! I'm running Bendix SRT's (Street Road Track) quite dusty but FARK do they work! I've got them hugging DBA 4000XS rotors and man you've got to be careful when stopping, jump on them to hard and I reckon your fillings would come out!

  12. Yeah mate working on it tomorrow night with a mate should be ready by the weekend going to make some major changes but it should be fine!
  13. Dude great time & the 60ft is awesome, I've just done a PB of 12.590 @ 112 with a 60fter of 2.089 with 262.5 rwkws! Is your a ZF? if so what was your launch method? What rpm stall etc...?
  14. Yeah just found some really good formulas which have allowances built in. Should have this thing sorted by the end of the week!
  15. Yes good idea! I'm sitting down with my poin dexter mate tonight to work on it so things like MPH and 60ft'er I guees should be thrown into the mix. All the replies and suggestions are great and hopefully soon we'll be able to have this table/calculator sorted so that it really is a good indictaion on how well or poor your 1/4 is compared to your power output!
  16. Yeah I'm going to get my nerd mate to have a look at it for me and add some additional formulas & some allowances. See how it pans out then! Interesting concept though hey?
  17. Hi All, I was mucking around at home tonight and thought up this calculator which may or may not be of any use or authority but it at least will give you a little bit of an idea as to how your fairing in the Rear Wheel Power vs E.T stakes. I'm sure this table can be adjusted and I’d be happy to take on any recommendations and add them. Anyways bit of fun perhaps give it a crack. I’ve taken the liberty of adding a few members quoted figures in just to start the thing rolling. I’ve seen all these massive figures quoted in the past and was just curious to see how a simply calculation verses the time would fair out! Interesting to say the least! XR6 Turbo.com drag calculator V1.1.xls
  18. Thanks mate his name is Christian not sure on what his FXR6T.com user name is as yet! He's never been to the drags but he has a BF Phoon with 354 rwkws so it will be interesting to see what he can run! I predicted that his 2nd run will be his last as he doesn't have an ANDRA! lol
  19. Can you post a larger version? Very hard to see!
  20. Hey Riki any chance of adding a waiting list should someone not be able to attend? I've git a buddy keen as but I told him the limit had been reached and this was when he asked me if there was maybe a waiting list/reserve list???
