  1. Daz have you entertained the idea that you might not go any quicker? Really cant see a 12 hey, unless you strip it and put it on the bottle. You mt's might be goonnnneee! I don't turn mine and that's with well over 450 and 1100nms!
  2. Next test & tune I might give this 10 sec 245 a crack. Prepped track and around 430 rwkws I reckon would be the sweat spot.
  3. Mate super sold effort there! Especially for only 350 rwkws, what dyno and tuner?
  4. Awesome man you must be stoked!
  5. Don't think anyone has on a 245! Think I remember a guy running a 10.9 on a 275 Invo.
  6. They even bite when you try and keep it simple! Ok so yeah I agree that I should have put OEM "spec" tyres in the title so as to give us a reference. Do we need to put width after 245 or we know that means?
  7. Yes agreed lets insert "spec" after OEM. Mods please arrange.
  8. JP300 started it plus Im sure theres been a 10 now. Also not sure who your pointing to. And Airstrike don;t be a douche. Use the other string for that.
  9. Tyre: Nitto Invo Size : 245/40/18 T/W: 260 ET: 11.2 MPH: 128.5 60f: 1.834
  10. Not quite it means any tyre that meets the specs of the factory dunlop. For example a falken 245 width and tread wear over 240 or a pirelli, nankang, maxis,Yokohama... etc! We just need to keep ok mind 2 things only (how simple is that) tyre must not exceed 245 in width and must must be tread wear of 240 or higher! Super Simple Stuff really.
  11. Ok due to the misinterpretation of the similarly named thread I have deemed it necessary to start this one. So you have have run a.factory spec tyred 1/4 pass I.e. tyre dose not exceed 245 in width or is the tread wear lower than 240. If you have ran your car on a tyre outside these parameters please post it in the other thread. Now let's see who can run fast times on these controlled guidelines. Should now make for some fun reading and results.
  12. I agree snot. The whole point of the thread imo was to highlight peoples efforts on factory spec rubber. But like anything these days people want to find ways to grey it up and promote their performances non factory spec rubber! I mean in drag racing they have the 10.5 class now to have a controlled tyred width. But hey if it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy to post your 11.3 on 275 R888's in a " post your STREET tyred 1/4 string" than so be it. I can't believe how people simply don't get the point of this string I truly don't. Sure its just not you and I snot! Hence why I said before let's just change the name of the string to " post your non slick/radial 1/4 time" as that seems more appropriate now. Yeah still does my head in!
  13. Ok let's ask to mods to change the topic to "post your non slick/radial 1/4 mile time" that would be much clearer right!
  14. Yeah mate a little bit of wheel spin which hurt my 60 ft a bit. New turbine, more boost, hoosiers and 9's I say!
  15. I thought 245 rubber and tread wear not under 240 was very uncomplicated! Obviusly I was mistaken. Ok time for me to throw some 305 Nt05's on the back and net me a mid 10 on street tyres!
  16. Qik its more about the tyre that the car was delivered from the factory on(245 width max). True street factory trim. Bit like if you had a thread saying "most power on pump fuel" and people started posting E85 figures and then arguing that It's on pump isn't it. Technically they are right but It's not in the spirit of the thread. I have quicker times on NTO5's but won't post them because I feel they don't count in this thread. My 2 cents.
  17. Such an open ended question this one really. I'd say around 350 to factor in even the most aggressive tune!
  18. One lane is faster than the other for starters!
