  1. Strange how my rapid cooler only gets to 42 and it started at 31. 11 degrees from bottom to the top of the run is more than exceptable IMO. It was a 24 degree day on that run to. From what I understand the big niz and the new spec plaz coolers are probably where it's at in terms of keep ok keeping temps down. But let's not also forget about the importance of flow as well as cooling. No use have a cooler that cools awesomely but flows crap and vice versa. Bang for buck it's still hard to beat the rapid cooler. Mines worked great for almost 2 years now and supports just under 500 rear and several 10 sec passes as well. My 2 cents. .
  2. George sounds like you know your stuff. Is it better to take off in 2nd or 1st gear? .
  3. 698 is fwkws. Seen more than a few gt42's go over or close to 600 rwkws wich is well over 698 at the fw. A gtx will see close to 700 rwkws with all the appropriate supporting mods.

  5. 2.74 secs from slip using an online 0 -100 time calculator based on 4 reference points from the slip. .

  10. That is entirely depndant on your driving style. If you are a quick lights jumper within a month or even less the ZF will default to 1st gear take offs. .

  12. Won't be an input shaft at 120 kmph more likely an intermediate shaft but at 330 rwkws that's really nowhere near enough power to break an intermediate. It's possible that you have have overheated the box or neutralized it by way of frying e drum frictions. But could be a number of things and until you get it time a shop you won't really know. Couple of questions. What dtc code came up? How many kms on the box? Has it ever been serviced? How many ks has the box had 330 rwkws through it? .

  17. Yeah as it's been said before it will just get to messy, I mean next someone will want it split up by fuel, ET Size, Non built motor and gearbox! This string is purley go as fast as you can in an FG XR6 or F6 Turbo otherwise it just gets to hard! I think it would be ok to mention Small Turbo by way of ST but again if you have upgraded to a bigger turbo then refer back to the rule, only one post per user! Thoughts?
  18. Mate if everyone kept there small turbo time in there the list would be twice a long. I'm happy however to replace Steve's GTX time with the the small turbo time, Steve?
