hey is it posible to replace the screen with a bigger screen? or is the screen hardwired to the ICC?? in esence can I go and get a 10" screen and have the ICC running from that? any one konw?

What do you guys reckon... I don't like the fact that there using an imported engine, but seeing a Vee under the hod would be a welcome change... Falcons are mussel cars... but there wont be that quickness about them? will it... I don't know too much about the topic just read the headline...

dose it matter if you reverse mount subs? dose the volume need to be changed? Also if paradoxx can/have/are you going to put the mesurments for you sub box up? BTW it looks really really good so far... very clean cut... are you going to get the same carpet for the box or what are you going to do to the exposed wood?

I agree 100% hence the proposition... however I don't think its the best title for the section, given what is in it, if you just say Audio/Visual it ignores car PC being something different for just audio visual systems... I think they should, however it would be confusing for older users that log on and find it changed so given that I do feel that the most appropriate title is in fact Audio/Visual...

I don't know about you guy's but from what I've read allot of the threads in this section are about car audio, car audio/visual, In-Car Entertainment and Mobile Electronics. what do you guys think is it time for a change of section title or what?

in Dads XR8 he only uses 98 octane from caltex... he tryed the sh*t from shell and he didnt have the same performance

hey just offering some free advice... everyone has free advice but I was looking at putting a seperate GPU in my carputer but they use way too much power, like a nvidia (my prefernce) 8600 series cards use in excess of 100W so unless you want to source a 500W DC-DC powersuply from the US or UK dont do it... even the mobile ones are expencive (in power)... your better off just getting at Motherboard with onboard graphics... the one I'm looking at very strongly is ASUS P5E-VM HDMI LGA 775 its DX 10 (from memory) but I do know it's this one or the nvida ones that are the best (depends on how loile you are to nvidia) the AMD onboards arnt as good as the intel and nvidia... I'd also putin an after market sound card... but other than that its super good and sutes what im doing any way... in closing Onboard graphic good; GPU bad...

Hey, I'm looking at getting a used F6 Typhoon, and hope to do some modifications to the Audio Visual system, I was wondering what year was the colour screen introduced, I have looked on the FPV web site but can’t find any information on previous models. thus I want to ask dose any one know when... if you don’t know just put down the year of yours... and weather you have it or not? also any one done some Major Audio/Visual Mods to these cars? P.S. I do plain on keeping the headhunt the same... I decided that f*cking around fibber-glassing and sh*t is just too much effort when all I need it the non-touch colour screen... Also if any one happens to have the screen size handy and what inputs it accepts, RAC, VGA, ect... Thanks...

the Volvo S40 T5 is prity much the same car (same engin, and chasie) its AWD however its really awquaed, not as nicer drive as the XR5 Turbo. however converting it to RWD Could be done. or a lim silp dif... but all in all its a fantastic car.
