I spent many years doing Judo and I would rarely use those skills in a fist fight. I guess if it became a bit of a wrestle I would naturally look to use those skills but standing toe to toe I would be wishing I spent those years boxing.

Just go to a motor cycle shop, you will find one for around $200. My helmet is a Ray's helmet and meet all standard, it was less than $300.

I saw old mate HKS on the M4 a couple of weeks ago, I was going to give it a bit of a squirt but my fuel gauge said 'E' and distance till empty said 7km.

10's will come eventually. It's a fine line I tread with 1/4 times, track days and every day use. I don't want to focus to hard on one thing then struggle on another. I have a new motor sitting at Tunehouse ready to go into the car, we might tweak a few things when we do the engine swap and see if I can then find that magical 10.

You should focus on MPH not rwkw. You may find you have the same mph as some one with 310rwkw.... IMO a Time slip has a lot more credibility than a dyno sheet.

I have run 11.50@126mph 1.9 60' on some very average factory dunlops. I think there was more in it that night but 11.5 was enough for me. I have watched John (jp300) run back to back 11.2's and would back him to sneak a 10 on the maxis. I would like to find someone that has done more passes on a single set of street tyres and still using them for every day driving.

PW was a good choice, trust me you will be happy. As for Intune ...well a forum full of XRT owner can not be wrong.... You have dug that little bit deeper into you pocket to sort the cooler properly don't wast that money by looking for a cheap and nasty tune.

Why are you selling your monza? Did you replace it with something better?

I think the Process west Stage 1 cooler is 900-1000 but well worth it, Rapid is also in the same price range for his stage 1. I am unsure about cutting with either of these coolers, best bet would be to give both suppliers a call and see what they can do. I would advise you push your budget a little bit and get something that you would be happy with. I can tell you from experience, a extra couple of hundred now can be a huge saving in the future. My first lot of mods are all soon to be replaced, including the motor.

Chasing hp can get very expensive, I would suggest you put a little more planning in to your build than you have your post..... Good Luck

Yeah they seem to be tightening things up at WSID last Saturday, they were checking helmets as you signed in and then looked over my car a lot longer than the usual 15 second stare under the bonnet. They even opened my boot for the first time. My guess is its an insurance issue...Maybe one of the tracks has recently been been audited by their insurer....

500hp is nothing with out the floor mats.

Yeah was told that at WSID..He then told me to buy a cheap one and fix it to the seat runners and baby hook.

I really don't understand all this talk about no traction, its really not that bad. I have driven my car in the wet with the race tune around Oran park and yes I could spin the tyres at will but the car was still very drivable. A nice progressive power delivery and you should be fine.
