  1. I would be interested to know how many of those people running around with a Kevin 07 hard-on's are now questioning them selves.
  2. Ordered Wolf S36's 18 x 8.5 fronts and 18 x 9.5 rears.
  3. Erko I was looking at some wolf wheels, they come in at $2100 18x8.5 front 18x9.5 rear. The web says 8kg's.
  4. Was looking at without Tyre Edit: Just read second post, So I would assume something around 8-10 kg's would be considered light?
  5. I have a couple of questions re. wheel weight. 1. What is considered light weight? 2. What is the weight of a stock 18 (approx)?
  6. Let me clear this up for you, my comment about not having a clue was directed at the way you went about your post not your knowledge of the XRT.
  7. I know nothing and never professed to know any more than nothing. I am not sure why you made the assumption that I was having a go about you questioning his bang for buck. What I would like to know is why you feel the need to get on a forum sh!t all over someone because in your 'opinion' they payed to much for the work they had done?
  8. Turbo_chick you really don't have a clue do you?
  9. Sometimes I wish I knew where to stop, I am driving around with a baby 330ish and after having the car off the road for a couple of months it now feels like a weapon. Whilst in today's xrt figures 370rwkw is 'average' it is still massive for an every day car.
  10. Injection perfection are they the ones out near bankstown airport? If so they tuned my blown 4l EL about 10 years ago. It was running a motec comp and after going to 3 different people I ended up there and they were the only people who got the car to run perfect.
  11. I'm not sure it is all that good for your box to stall up 2nd then hit 1st.
  12. With a tune only my expectations would be more focused on drive-ability, fuel consumption and motor/drivetrain longevity. You will obviously see rwkw increases but that is a figure that can vary from dyno to dyno, it can also be falsified. My advise on where to go is in my sig
  13. Stick to one of the sponsors you mentioned. Trust me I speak from experience.
  14. Looks similar to the good old LAI Turtles cabinet, where did you get the design for the cabinet. What are you using for monitor, buttons etc...
  15. xr6tc, mate just buy a cheap helmet and run the car on your street tyres. It really is not that bad, I went 11.5 in full street trim with well worn factory dunlops.... Forget spending all this effort for tyres, preping the car etc... Just fill her up grab your helmet and go racing..... You will find it takes you a couple meets to feel comfortaple with running the car, by that time you should have pushed you street tyres to a good time. Then buy some slicks and see how far the car can go.
  16. The way we are sold this whole emissions trading crap is much like how I sell a new round of mods to the missus. I come up with a bullshizle reason why I need some parts, I then order the parts, book the car in to have them fitted and the car tuned. Once I have all plans in motion I ask for permission from the missus all the while making her feel like she has a say.....
  17. Mate do not be to concerned with 300rwkw on the ZF, Mine was copping 400rwkw of abuse day after day and although it was not to happy in the end it did not break. And when I say abuse I mean many 11 sec passed all with massive burnouts, track days and general abuse. Just keep servicing it.
  18. I would be taking it back to the tuner and asking why? It is his job to sort these things out. If its in the tune, he can fix it. If its in the gauge or the gauge set up he can still fix. If he can not fix, find someone who knows what they are doing. Simple
  19. He may also be seeing the rear end of lower (claimed) power cars. MPH is what counts.....Not 'claimed' power figures
  20. I said the exact same thing early this year...Ha I was kidding my self... Give the Dunlops a solid burn out, they can hook up ok. I ran 11.5 with them and feel they have more in them.
  21. Good chance I will be heading down for a few runs with the street tyres...Give the car one last work out before the new engine goes in....
  22. Quality? as in finished product?or Quality as in design and performance? I have PW stage 3, it does a great job and the finish on the product is second to none. However these good looks do not mean better design.....
  23. These issues are what make the final product more enjoyable....Making big power like you are aiming for is not as straight forward as some people would have you believe.... Just stick with it and do every thing 100%, avoid those easy short cuts. When you do get the car on the road you want it to stay on the road.
  24. OK...What motor?? What supercharger??? What for???
  25. I just noticed this thread, I knew you had ordered the car but I am surprised you did not have Jim pick the car up from the dealer for you. Save you the time dropping off to him. This long and not even thinking about a K&N, I'm not sure if I am surprised or disappointed.
