250km down the straight, wow I bet that was an interesting ride.... I start to feel unsure about my cars high speed stability at around 230km... with the old tune I hit a pb of 239km at the creek and I tell you that had me a little concerned...

Its hard to say where I made time, I felt as though I improved my line on turn 2 and made some time but not sure how much the resurfacing helped. Turn 2 is such a hard turn, it set up the lap with so much time made and lost in that turn. As for turn 12, I struggled through this turn all day. If I used 2nd it would spin the tyres far to much and 3rd was a little laggy. I ended up using 3rd and holding the corner wide to try to maintain some boost for the exit.

Yeah the tyres really helped, considering I was down on so much straight line speed it felt good to still make up time else where. I was running 245/40/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears. I now just need to get some time in the car and hopefully keep improving.

Went out to eastern creek on Wednesday and had a pretty good day, car ran very consistent. I was running R888 instead of my usual R1R's and with less power (15 to 20km slower down the straight) I improved my lap times to some consistent 1.52's and a best of 1.51.6. I was using my iphone with Harry's lap timer app and did not realise I could record the laps as well as time them until later in the day. So below is a 1.53.12 with some traffic... I guess All I need to do is improve some of my lines and I will make up a heap more time.

If you want tyres for the street do not go a proper semi like the R888 or things will get a bit scary in the wet.... I ran my R1R's for while on the street and found them to be the best tyre for street use I have tried. With any semi tyre on the street be prepared for road noise and tyre wear....

They are good people out at cables, family run with a good feel about the place. Although I have been out there a fair few times I have never been on the cables.

I went a bit to far a bought them the whole outfit, suit, shirt, shoes, tie, cuff links. I even bought them socks because I figured they would forget them. Cuff links are a good start have a look on line, you should be able to get them cheap from here. cuff links Back them up some a bottle of black label and its happy days. P.S Ask them to wait until another day to drink the scotch

I was also considering loan repayments on the business purchase....Then there is franchise fee's, running costs Insurances etc..... It all adds up... Out of curiosity, what do you pay for a business that turns over 230k with only 6k in expenses??? As for those speaking about PNG, if anyone goes there hit me up, I have a few family investment going on and head over there a fair bit.....

Why share the business?? Courier is only 5 days a week work. 230k minus expenses then split 50/50 hmm sound like you will be making something closer to 70/80k

Top effort, congrats to all involved. Although there are goals of 9s to get so far into the 10s is a great result.

Kevy, mate relax.... I was just giving you some feed back on your topic.... As I have no idea about Miami air intakes or modifying a car in a manner that is consider 'legal' I though I might help out with your Flee issue. So back to my original answer Try Advantix. In terms of modifying you soon to be new ute, my advice is do it once and do it properly. You could spend hours and a few $ trying to make this Miami air intake work only to decide you want some real performance. Trust me I have done most things twice and a few things three times.... Edit: Tab its those from QLD that are weird, all normal in SYD....I think???
