Look, I had planned to attend, but I got saddled with an unpleasant task. Tomorrow I`m going to see if I can attend atleast some of this. No promises. But I`ll give it a shot.

Just think though for a second: This car has done 11.70 at 119 mph and probably has better in it with practice. Tyson didn`t grow up driving anything that had wheels like I did, and due to locality issues, he`s barely up to 50 hours in the log book. 15 yrs ago, could an 11 second car have L plates on it and travel with out incident some distance along the motorway and parts of Brisbane?

Mate the DBA 5000`s are $536.25 each and the pads are 200 all up. Karl had the rotors a lil bit cheaper.

Karl ( Hiro ) had a special on for them. Either that or call Howard at RaceBrakes in Melbourne. Howard sent me a pair of DBA 5000`s and his AWESOME! RB24 disc pads for $1297.50. I had the lot the next day. Those pads are easily among the best things I`ve ever bought. Howard said great performance, long rotor life and little or no dust and he was 100% correct.

Still, I`ve always wanted a rag top for out west.. Jokes aside that`d be a barrel of fun with anything near 170 kw. I want one :(

You can buy fake standard Typhoon wheels for under grand for 4, or fake Dark Argents for 11 hundy or so for 4. I`d get a K&N filter and maybe lose the centre muffler and call it a day if I had an N/A car.

When you buy anything sight unseen ( pictures are just that, images ) you are taking a punt aren`t you? It certainly sucks harder that items purchased off a forum from what you would imagine are fraternal like minded individuals. In my tenure I`ve seen some real beauts. I`m on forums based in America and yeah, I`ve seen guys selling items and do the right thing and then ping! they go nutty and burn several members. On one local forum I`m aware of a guy who is an outright thief peddling his ill gotten items there. He was discovered but not before people bought tainted goods or indeed lost stuff. But for sure, feel ya pain mate, bullsh!t blows. Caveat emptor. Something dogdgey I noticed when I was looking to buy my car, I looked on carsales etc. You see this car and omfg its like new? you fall in love with it.. Then, oooh, you look close at the dash pic and the odometer is showing 3 digits and lotsa zeros. The flaking thing is NEW! Old mate shoots a few gigs worth of pics the day he takes delivery and then 50,000 klms later that's the pics he uses in the ads. It became obvious after a while but it still sh!t me.

What comes with the short motor kit? used to be you got a block, crank rods and pistons and jack all else. No sump etc. Whats in the box, Ulleh?
