Better economy is available, whether you can allow it to happen depends on your restraint. You can do it on the cheap. You certainly can reach that magic 300 rwkw goal that dazzles every newcomer ( me included ).. You can delete the centre muffler, use the stock cooler and even leave the stock pump in and still reach your target. However, if you get a good exhuast, a decent cooler, an aftermarket fuel pump and valve springs you can get a really REALLY nice all round driving tune. DOn`t be blinkered by the old " I don`t want anymore than 300 " line we ALL told ourselves in the beginning.. Talk to some tuners and look at some dyno charts, if you go cheap that just there 300 kw will have a power curve like the top of a picket fence, where as you can have 315 to as high as say 330 and it`ll be like a big fat wad of power and torque spread over nice band. that's what I think anyway, but I wouldn`t know sh!t from shoe polish. In a nutshell, I reckon my 325 kw tune is arseloads better in every regard than my 310 tune its all pros and no cons so add me to the list that says just friggin do it guy.
