This has grown like wildfire. Its precisely what is needed in my humble opinion. 2010 is one quarter gone. At the beginning of this year big things were reported to be on the horizon from many sectors. Well, there has been some changes. All over the world and locally. Things need a shake up every now and then. This thing, this car.. A certain engine uniquely homegrown. A big inline six that is in no doubt the best engine this country has produced, that has spawned a fraternity and an allied industry of tuners and fabricators. Add a provocateur like our man Spiro who has instigated a challenge that has generated such interest and input from the industry and associated parties. In light of recent events, it could not come together at a better venue. This is the sh!t!

Well, done and dusted.. Interesting, there was some happy mosquito`s at Nudgee beach full of codiene after feasting on old Johnno.. Scarey P platers playing dodgem cars for keeps at Mt. Gravatt look out. Ouch. Maybe that's why its called a LOOKOUT! Poor old Howsee looked lost without a Turbo Ford.. Good to catch up as always. Not looked at pics yet, they gonna be crap due to my tripod falling apart. Meh. Tomozo at the drags for the mini meet will be better for pics I hope. Let`s go cheer Spiro on, seems a few are planning on attending.

I went into work this morning, I had stuff tagged out and isolated so I needed to set that back to normal. Getting in and out of the `Woo was intense.. I get about 90 mins out of 2 Codeine. I`m hoping if I take it steady it`ll improve. By the time I got home just now getting out of the car wasn`t real flash. I`ll do it for the team

At this moment, I`m reserving judgement.. Today, with out intricate detail, I was lifting a heavy spray bar manifold ( its hinged ) on top of a screen deck. So I`m on like an angle, no room to move, and the 2 spray bars I`m using as handles broke. Therefore: I`m on this bodgy angle, lifting maybe a 150 kg or something so I take off like a rocket down the deck landing on the other spray bars, that are 2 inch steam pipe. The one the bore the brunt of my landing on it ( about the kidney area ) actually broke off the manifold. I had to get the job finished and knowing I`d be in some discomfort after a while I pressed on. It was farkin pretty intense. Driving home in the `woo, there was grimacing.. Some expletives. Now, its the most exquisite pain, sitting is worse, I lay on the floor and it took me several minutes to work out how to get back up. I`m off to the quack right miaow basically to get better drugs than I have on hand. Work will suck tomozo. But I`ll review whether I can drive tomorow night...

matt, by the time you`re used to it, it`ll be run in. With the kind of tune that engine could stand, man its its gonna be a step up in the world.. But, going with what your tuner advises would be the smart thing..

Steve ( The Bogan ) has a decent camera and I`m sure it will see some use...

I`d suggest that its a far arrrkin tough engine you`ve had assembled there, and while I personally wouldn`t buzz the thing around the limiter, depending on the tune it has in it it should stand a bit of gentle probing.. That is to say, dependant on the TUNE.. If it has new cams etc they gotta tune it, non? Its only money, Mathew.. it`s only money..

The heading of this thread is Pump Fuel Clash Of The Titans, which leaves me wondering why race gas is getting discussed? I`d say we all like to see big numbers, but maybe leave the race gas tuned cars for an all out dyno assault day? Get this one out of the way and see if a no holds barred BATTLE ROYALE!!!!!! ( wow who`s typing like the bogan?? ) can be arranged. I`m sure Paul and the crew could be persuaded to help at a later date.

Keeping a straight face telling them at scruntineering it won`t run quicker than 12 seconds and not requiring a 4 point harness and or cage will be your biggest hurdle.
