    Moscow Circus

It was pretty decent, eh.. Apparently Carlos broke his knee and femur.. I heard that second hand at work today.. It was all pretty dangerous sh!t eh.. The Brazil Bros. in the thing with the 2 wheels at either end that spins like a windmill, man they were pushing the boundaries.. One guy went arse up as it spun and near fell out, was not part of act either you could see a couple spots of blood from where he landed and just managed to keep inside the wheel. His mate running around the outside of the wheel was really working to do it.. The globe of doom with the 3 jokers on 80`s was pretty impressive too. Son and I had the very best seat in the house, imagine sitting on ya lounge and the performance is happening from coffee table to TV distance.. I was ready to be bored witless and was only there for my son, but I ended up having a pretty fat time.

    Moscow Circus

Junior and I went to see the Moscow Circus tonight.. Cost me 95 bucks, VIP seats for he and I but what the hell eh.. It was pretty darn okay, entertaining.. Clown got me into crowd participation, but made less a dick of me than the other hapless shmucks.. Guess that's what paying that bit extra gets you.. I do see a work cover claim tomorrow however, old mate fell off the high wire.. I reckon it had to be 20 feet.. Conservatively.. He did`nt seem to strike anything enroute to the deck and they said he was bright and alert ( but not alarmed ) had all feeling and hadn`t broken anything serious.. I don`t think I`ll whinge about MY job for a while..
  3. I do 58.5 hrs and make a grandish, normal week for me is 63.5 hrs and I make a bit more. Sucks to be me.
  4. I roared laughing at them, but then.. I didn`t have me glasses on
  5. FWIW stand for = For whats its worth. I wasn`t suggesting it was the injectors, merely that my car has them. I`ve read this thread with great interest, Why, would a car ( lets say, oh.. mine? ) begin to exhibit this hunting - running on behaviour after a tune? Okay, it`s in the scaling, acelerator pump settings or somewhere, but why does it need to be changed after the tune? What change cause this new unwanted aspect?
  6. My car has drilled injectors ( FWIW ) and does this. It really sh!t`s me..
  7. mate can you define " hunting on decel " ? Would say, specifically, the revs would hang when you lifted your foot at say, 50 - 60 kph?
  8. [quote name='turbo.vixen' date='Mar 3 2009, 03:02 PM' post='834378' there were a few others but they were being driven by really old people so they dont matter HEY!
  9. I`m invited??
  10. If Matt lends me his car, I`m so down for this! YEW!!!!!
  11. Its rude, and seemingly one could get away with it.. So it has to be considered on those grounds alone. BEWBS is lookin good.. Everyone likes `em. Damn PPQ and their school boy humour filter..
  12. Have`nt decided yet.. It`s either that one , BEWBS or SHLONG...
  13. We can go in teh Daewoo...
  14. While I surely hope no one suffers property or worse loses, I`d dearly love our dams to fill. I`ve been to slack to buy a tank ( despite having a mate in the trade who would even deliver the bastard ) I`d love to be able to wash my car anytime I wanted too.
  15. 315 hp x 1.34 = 235 kw.. Which is good, on par with the better F6`s. Certainly good for a BA, has it had a gentle life and not too many K`s? Welcome aboard though, eh.
  16. Copule of notes, intercooler!!! Holy.. But watch the front wheels moving back, that can`t be good for stuff..
  17. edit, you`ve got the mount. Yeah just support the engine, pull the old one out put the new one in. It`s not as easy as that in practice, but that's basically it. If you reckon you can do it, you`ll prolly succeed.
  18. I`m not driving my F6 along 2 klms of dirt road that gets dressed with sometimes 40 mm gravel and regularly gets a water truck over it. that's the road into work, nor am I am getting into it covered in sand, grease and sweat at the end of the day. I have a work beater, it`s all good. On weekends, I drive my Typhoon. I mean DRIVE it, too. Its our family car for my boys and I. We`re all different and have different expectations, wants and needs. This is just what I do. Okay it`s not a T, but I wouldn`t begrudge anyone trying to keep their car nice if they`ve worked hard to get it, no matter what it is.
  19. I fitted Bilsteins at xmas time, my original BF F6 shocks were shagged at 40,000. The improvement was HUGE. I personally don`t think ride quality was reduced, on the contrary I beleive it was increased as the car doesn`t want to take off over bumps like it did. Its just better everywhere, best $1055 I`ve spent.
  20. I had one done recently, its about $320 for the mount ( I`m not making that up ) and 170 ish to fit it. Mine was done under warrantee so I was quite pleased. Will your local Ford chap say NO! I won`t fix that under warrantee because you have a tune, or will he just take Fords money and fix it. You need to take that up with them.. * rolls eyes and whistles It most assuredly is your left engine mount... They are a fluid filled doover, so it`s a vibration isolator as well see..

    The Job Thread

I left school at 14, I`ve worked hard in the sun or in factories, getting paid crap wages. My one saving grace was a family involvement in earthmoving equipment. I learned to operate ( adequately, that's all ) machinery. I walked away from it for 15 or more years but returned to it a few years ago. I get 18.50 an hour, yet gross near 70 k a year.. To do it, I generally work 6am -6pm five days a week and 6 hours saturday. I`d love to do something forfilling, I`m fuvked if I know what that might me. I envy anyone who had a dream of doing something and stuck with it. All I wanted to do was bongs and ride dirt bikes. I`ve forgotten where I was going with this.. Oh yeah, I grew up just before I turned forty, straightened right up, wish I had of done it when I was 30.. But heh, my ex wife wou ld have really cleaned up and that`d be about all.
  22. Capper was on the radio, ABC reporter asked him who he`d give his preferences too, he said: Geez, I dunno.. that's a good question, who would you give `em too? " His main advisor is Mark Jackson apparently. I feel sorry for Beauy, they don`t need this sh!t..
  23. Pauline, should be commended for rising to the hieghts she has from her humble beginnings. However, she is a tireless self promoter, and care`s little for anyone or thing bar her own ambition. The only reason she is even in this election is to promote herself or current activity. Today on radio, she refered to the opposition leader as Rob Borbidge.. Finger on the pulse there love, he`s been gone for eons..
  24. I`m heading into the city now, gotta have coffee with an lady. Then who the hell knows. 0423 045 469 is old Johnno, I`m in this reeeeal shiny mercury typhoon in Brisbekistan somewhere..
