Brought F6 Typhoon home from panel shop while I wait for more parts to arrive. Oil Pressure guage is not working. Now, when you turn the key the needle moves just slightly but doesn`t react at all when the eingine is running. I get under the car for a look and what I presume is the sender ( big arse sender on the block under the intake manifold ) has one white with red stripe wire attached and a vacant male end beside it. I thought it might be a missing earth or summin but I had no joy when I put a wire to it tried earthing it. I can find no unconnected wires under there. The Panel shop would have fiddiling around near by during repairs and the guage was working fine 11 weeks ago when it went on the the tilt bed to the repairer. Clues anyone?

My sister has a newsagency, her CCT system is clear as HD TV, the cops still didn`t anything when they were shown the footage of a break in.. Everyone could identify bastard.. If you don`t own the place, move mate. You`ll only lose, it`s a sad state of affairs. If you go over and cave heads in you`ll get in the sh*t. If they are heaving Jimmy bottles at ya car for no reason, whats gonna happen if you actually get a successful conviction against one of them? If you do own, well.. I`ve noticed here that eventually bad tenants will go.. But unfortunately a house will always seems to have some ne`r do well in residence. sh*t will always find its own level.

Mate, one of mine was repaired and really, it`s utterly superb. These guys repaired it http://www.depuluwheels.com/ I`m considering sending the other 3 wheels there for a bit of a spruce up. Apparently you need to be seated with a sedative ready when you get the bill but I don`t care. One wheel I have on the front has been dealer doctored probably after a botched brake bleed.. Try saying that with a mouth full of marbles.. Anyway yeah, ya not alone buddy.

My car is on a tilt bed on its way home, unfinished.. Its actually " finished " it just doesn`t wear the new front bar cause its on back order.. I wigged out at the insurance co. and told them I`d skol a gallon of rat piss before my car spends what could be another 2 months in a panael shop doing bugger all cept getting started and moved every morning.. I REALLY feel for the repairer, he`s got bulk coin in the repairs and doesn`t get paid till it`s done. If those doughy bastards spent more time trying to actually produce and stock the parts instead of standing peoples dicks who wanna buy them, the world would be a better place. Who gives a crap if someone wants to build a tranny BF Phoon?? They hardly ever stick to the formula, go with a GT wing or dual outlet undertray or wtf ever.. Like hello, youse dun make BF Typhoons anymore, G.. How is it protecting your brand if the 2 bumpers cost 12 grand?? Buggered if I know.. Okay I suppose the Ford guy who looked at all that plastic ( front bars etc ) and said nah that's crap take it back is too be applauded, but bloody hell, its taken too long now..

Any issues? I`ve heard there might be hacking? Can I fenangle it on there good enough with out structural bastardry? I`ve been graciously offered a XR8 bumper as a temporary loaner.

Not seen my car in over 11 weeks, its at a smash repairer awaiting a front bar. It`s a BF Typhoon.. Ford adise 22 June delivery of the new plastics maybe. These new ones could well be crap and get sent back like the last lot. I`ve fully had the sh*ts with waiting, if its going to be another 2 months sitting in a smash repair place sucking up bog dust, om bringin` it `ome.. So! Can I fit a T front bar with out hacking the sh*tter`a out of the car or what.. I could get other crap I want done to it while I wait for the Phoon bar to show. I could drive the f*cking thing even.. Please no posts saying maybe, I`d like to hear from people who have perhaps fitted a genuine phoon bar to a T.

What though? Its not gonna make Huang work any faster on the parts, or give the Junk bringing it here a tail wind. lol at the ford parts guy who told me to go to A Current Affair.. Some might say that all will be forgiven when I get me car back.. But after what could well end up being 5 months, who could be blamed for a lost interest? Reminder: It`s insurance, so no fibreglass or second handers..

Well, after waiting 40 mins on hold to fpv, I get told: can you get the part number so I can assist you further?? I`m like: Mate, you`re FORD! You`ve got no access to a friggn` database? No sir I`m sorry.. So, I ring the dealership the smash repairer is using, he said they`ve been advised 22 JUNE!!! He didn`t say what f*ckin` year though.. I`m as sour as a cut snake, and everyone is going to hear about it... Its boolsh!t that a 2 year old car made HERE! has to sit for what will amount to 5 months to get a front bumper! NEVER again..

This is second day in a row I`ve been soaked.. I spent 11 hours in the crap on monday, and I can`t wash me car!?!?!? Spewin...

I wait 3 months for a new front bar for my BF F6, days after it arrives someone has one in the exact colour of my car in the for sale section Okay I would have only ever have fitted a new one ( insurance yay! ) bit friggin`.. Still..

I reckon they look fine. The price was right eh? You already had them, whats it take to whack a set of wheels on sh!ts and gigs. Although I`d rather skol a gallon of rat p!ss before I`d have that rivet look on my own wheels, they still look perfectly okay. If they got legal tyres, even more of a win. However, how much to they tart up that magna.. Could get a few more sheckles for it with `em on it .. dunno.

Possibley a valve spring broken from over rev.. Could be anything.. Where are you? I`d have a browse through the advertisers section and find someone close to you and give `em a call.

I got told " parts arrive friday " when I rang today.. I might see my car for the first time in 3 months end of next week, or early week after.

Hmmm, I`m interested in the twin cat idea. I paid quite a bit more than 2k for my exhaust, still have a stock dump and the cat hits the floor. lol wish I knew this was coming down the pike.

OMFg my heart skipped a beat when I read this, I was going to ring my repairer today at lunch time but my Nanna nap ran over budget and I forgot.. I`ll ring tomo lunch.. 11 weeks I`ve waited for a front bar.. If its the wrong one its Tab`s fault..

We all get up and go to work to earn a dollar.. I think we lose sight of the fact that the mechanic is on the same wavelength there. He also has overheads, lol all I gotta do is take me lunch. He`s gotta pay for power, rent, replace tools and equipment, upgrade stuff, be constantly updaing his knowledge base and pay people as well.. I wanted to be a mechanic as a kid, I`m not sorry that didn`t eventuate.. Its at times, a hard physically demanding job that can screw your health up. You gotta deal with whiners who are never happy, think they know more than you and f**k you over for the bill.. If you`ve got the time and abilty to do some or all the work to your car then terrific go save yourself some dough.

Couldn`t be any worse than my 80 yr old father hole shoting everyone at the lights in my car.. Lets hope someone spots a Mercury BF F6 in the next week or 2.. :ooh:

Well, I`m... Just having some detailing issues worked through just at the minute. Apparently there is light at the end of the tunnel ( ha! its a train ) I`ve been advised items I require will be made available early this month.

I`m hoping I`ve got a car to do it in..

I`ma take a couple weeks off next month if they let me, one possible idea is a run back to the old country ( lol Victoria )... I was gonna maybe hit up the ocean road, I dunno maybe Nizpro Headquarters and.. FPV. I`m wondering if I rock up in one of their product and arks if I can have look around? Didn`t they used to do this? Just a thought at this stage but can anyone throw me a bone here?
