  1. here`s a bad pic ( new camera, still coming to grips ) of how they look.. I reckon its sh!t hot.
  2. After looking at my 2 day drive holiday pics I thought: ENOUGH of the AA gasser rake my car exhibits! I went and bought a pair Pedders slightly lower and heavier rear springs. I fitted them in no time at all, lowered it onto the ground thinking, ooooooh whats it gonna be like?? Its spot on. So far anyway. It looks awesome ( to me ) doesn`t scrape and I reckon now that its level and not pointing arse up nose down it steers way nicer and doesn`t want to run over the front wheels like it did. Pics soon.
  3. I can only compare the Marangonis to the Dunlops as that's all my Typhoon has been shod with. initially I was a lil disappointed with the noise, I was assured they were quieter than the Dunlops which are like truck tyres. The noise has abated now I have 2,000 klms on the marangonis I fitted to the front, the basically new pair of Dunlops ( one was the never used spare the other an insurance tyre I specifically asked not to be fitted ) were on ther front breifly are now on the back. In one mildly spirited drive through the Somerset Dam region I rounded the shoulders off the Dunlops at an alarming rate of wear. I had as decent a go through the entire length of the Putty Road as one so far from home would dare recently, the shoulders on the Mythos are fine. They hung on that little bit better than the Dunlops did. Felt better.. I`m happy enough with them so far. I drove on a slighlty damp road today and that's my some total of experience with the Mythos in the wet. It was a bit greasy, they were okay. Tread wear is the next test, time will tell. At this stage I`ve got an open mind. I`ll never stop looking for better, you can`t afford too.
  4. I saw a T with one of these or similar in country NSW today and it looked friggin` awesome..
  5. I paid 350 each 245-35-19 on saturday, it`s only money I did some fairly spirited cornering over a pretty long period and yeah, these things are the go.. Like `em a lot.
  6. I have a car
  7. I`ve met Karl once sometime ago, didn`t think it was him. I`ve not seen his car that I`m aware of, but he has seen mine before. Yeah check that, Karl has an F6 I`m pretty sure this was an FG XR6T. Guys` drivng style didn`t really fit with Karls profile either.. From what I`m led to beleive... *walks away whistling*
  8. Chatted breifly to a guy in a Black XR6T FG ute with some stickers and something about strippers on it in Clontarf on Sunday. Seemed to go okay..
  9. I weaseled one out of the dealer when I bought my car.. He said they were 100 bucks or so, the lairy form fitting one with the Ford Script on it. I`ve had the cut to sorta fit one but these proper ones are way better. Ask another Ford place, the dealer I went to had a few in stock. Ring John at Jeff Wignall FPV, he`d know where to get one.

I ended up with an Asus. Quite happy with it.
  11. Weapon..
  12. It is hard to be pissed off despite not being in the zone as The Bogan puts it, I still ran a PB. It is funny when you arrive back at the lanes, a stranger in a Late model camira or similar will ask what you ran, you go awwww 11.7 I fvcked it up Poor bastard feels like kicking you and says: ya pissed orf at doing 11`s!!?? Some days you eat the bear, some days the bear eats you.
  13. Steve that last run just had all the ducks lined up mate. Car took off like an unregistered dog and just went down the track like a bullet. Jeez it was good too watch.
  14. Steve yeah mate.. I mean its a free country and the best part about drag racing is everyone gets a go Worst part is, everyone gets a go!! Heart goes out to that guy in the 20B Kombi ( not a typo ) that broke whatever. lol at it wheelstanding in the water during burn out.
  15. Huge crowd, very slow trip down the staging lanes. I arrived and signed in at 6pm. I think my first failure run was 8:30pm. I did a really good burnout, made sure I positioned the car so it didn`t crab during the skid, stalled it straight to 2,500 no probs but it started to creep so as I had the 2 staging lights on thought it`d be okay. Forgot the christmas tree has to start or you won`t trigger the beams. No time recorded. It rocketed out of the hole we`ll never know the 60 foot... rest of the run felt pretty unremarkable though. It`s history now. Second and last run, it was quite cool, they was still hope. I didn`t position the car too well partly due to the Victor Bray style burnout the guy in front of me did. Pea soup fog it was like. So, car crabbed but I still thought it might have got some heat. Got a bit of wheelspin off the line and it shuddered a lil bit in second. 11.70. I`ve annoyed that I`ve probably wasted the last cold night of the year. This afternoon I was in 2 minds as to whether my heart ( and head ) was 100% in going out there. Possibly I should have left it go. I`m not gonna cut my wrists but yeah, flutuating fortunes. FPV Steve`s last run was absolutely mint from start to finish. 11.50 and it looked really fast. Well done, guy It was Steve`s night, he jagged the fast moving lines and did about 25 runs easy.. lol..
  16. As I type this at 2:20pm it`s fairly cool. Fairly stiff breeze. Lets hope we have some record aiding cooler weather tonight. Ima put me slicks on after me Nanna nap.
  17. Nail on head there, Buffy.
  18. plus one with that cooler and snorkel delete and no probs.

    Dell

Yeah eh, I think its 84 bucks to upgrade which is pretty decent.. I`m still deciding on the notebook in the link I put previously..
  21. Despite docs orders I went to work and was a bit ordinary but okay.. Got an appointment on Saturday morning for follow up. It`s all good. Cheers, boys.
  22. I held first too long, I`m sure if I refine my shift points an 11.5 could happen. I try to avoid racing people I know, now.. It removes another distraction in my view. I didn`t feel 100% on the night either. Got home felt worse. Ended up with some pretty wild chest pain I figured was indigestion. By 4:00 am it was fairly well off scale, I`m not really a sook either. So, I drove up the hospital, lol I even sat at the lights in town at 4:30am like a dick, I was nearly taking bites out of the upolstery, was starting the smart a bit. Took 2 lots of Morph to rein it back to tolerable levels. Lotsa tests, upshot was a mild heart attack on the bottom of the heart or some mumbo jumbo. Irregular line on the EEG, heart inflammed, gotta take easy etc.. Not 25 anymore.. Blah blah. So, I gotta monitor it all maybe go see my doc and get a second EEG doen to compare.. I need to perhaps stop carrying full size oxy bottles up verticle flights of stairs, get more sleep, not think that work is really that friggin important. Let Steve push his own car lol.. I might still have some morphine on board so I`m rambling a bit.
  23. Well another T+T come and gone. Didn`t get as cool as I`d have hoped. I wonder if we`ll have any really cool nights again this year. I improved my burnout performance subsequently my 60 foot came back down and I netted a best ET out of the 2 runs ( it was pretty full ) of 11.728 @ 119.48 mph. I may have held first gear a bit long but it was leaving the line really well and biting each gear so I had traction alrighty. I reckon its as good as I`ll do. I`m more than happy to brutally honest.
  24. Okay while I agree you can wonder how a car really slammed into the weeds handles, what about the Nissan Patrol wagon that's 4 feet in the air with loader tyres on it? How is that okay seemingly.
