Senna T ( Pat ) at Wholesale Suspension supplied me with a pair of 520 pound front and 310 rear Kings coils that I fitted to my BF Typhoon yesterday arv and this morning. I was prepared for a slight increase in harshness in trade for better handling. It rides SMOOTHER than before with just Bilstiens and stock springs, and also better than when it had Pedders lowered coils on the rear. It reminds me of when I had the forks on my dirt bikes set just right, with some intial plushness graduating to firmness. I`m thinking its the progessive wind on the coils. Definitely a more sophisticated set up over what it came with. I`m very happy with them.

I have been fortunate ( in one respect anyway ) working at small places to have never been stuck in an excavator, I would spend sometimes a day or 2 clearing trees then mining sand then loading it on a moxy and taking it to the plant. Now if I get stuck on a loader or whatever all day I feel totally shagged, due too many trips to the deck off motorbikes in my youth. One guy I worked with who was at the time on the digger, brought up something I`d never considered: Deep Vein Thrombosis. You gotta get out, walk about a bit. Its easy to forget too if you`re under the gun loading multiple trucks or whatever. When I fed the plant and was on late lunch, I could get stuck in there for 7 hours straight. Plant operator as a profession is hard on your physical well being if you`re not carefull there can be no arguement. But if you didn`t finish high school and wanna make a quid wtf ya gonna do.. Hyjack ends..

The most important thing about being a dumpy truck driver is, if you have not heard a rumour by smoko, start one. Seriously, when you apply try to get across that you are focused on safety and safe working practice. The safety aspect in big places is mind numbing.. Be aware of drug and alky hole policies also.. Since they went digital and started scrambling the signal the old scanner is slightly redundant. In my town, they have not gone to digital ( yet ) so the scanner - UHF combo in my work car still can provide me with some entertainment. It`s hardly going to stop me getting booked or whatever, but yeah, it can be entertaining.

Lol at FPV owners thinking alike though, if I see a GT or whatever, I`ll park next to it figuring the owner will have the empathy not to dent my car.. Often I`ll come out of the shops and a GT or nice T will be parked beside me with the owner obviously thinking the same thing. Mostly, the harder you try to avoid it, the more chance there is of something bad happening.

There was a black FG XR6 that I dunno how he didn`t take the front lip off on the bump stop thingy in the parking bay. Noticed as we walked up to the gate. I wasn`t too concerned about anyone parking near me, it was a non public holiday monday.

I`m interested in knowing what guys who have had bad experiences with the Mythos have switched to and how they have faired? It`s certainly intrigueing to get such polar opposite responses.
