I used to use the late night - early morning bandit technique at Carlovers, I`d take a sealed bucket with car wash, warm water and a mitt in it. Now, I have rain water tanks installed at home. My reason to use Carlovers was water restrictions. Okay so it didn`t rain, what to do? I`ve got this hillbilly set up where the air con from my living room goes into a 20 litre plastic container, a thin one that doesn`t take up too much space in my piss poor carport. Into this, I fitted a water feature pump, ran some hose from there up and along the ceiling of said car port and into my twin 1,000 litre tanks. When you consider for a couple months of summer I can be putting 40 plus litres a day in there from my living room A/C ( 200 litres a week, no sh!t ) Once you start using a Karcher - Gerni or whatever you can not go back to an N/A garden hose. Just to sum up, I use a Wool wash mitt now, its great. Chamois will scratch you car worse than a sponge in my opinion, I use those microfibre polish cloths to dry with. Okay, I have a couple dearer ones for polishing with Autoglym super resin polish. But I`ve got several rolls of those cheaper ones ( look the same to me ) bought from teh Warehouse, crazy who ever`s, to dry the car with. More often not I find if the car comes up really nice with just a wash and dry with the microfibre cloths and no polish. I am prone to polish it for no real reason though, like most nutcases.

Grinder is a last resort, I`d have to tape up first and it gets to be a chore. I`ll see what happens on the day, I`m down as a maybe.

Autoglym, for the wyn. The interior stuff is awesome. Vinyl doesn`t look wet or feel overly slippery, just looks new. Bowdens is good gear, I`ve got some of their stuff. Autoglm is just that lil bit better.

More info?? I have a digital radio and I reckon its pretty okay. Its like digi TV, all the stations have side stations as well, lol at 4KQ and their MOD station or whatever it is, all Beatles all the damned time. But yeah, not seen any car specific digital radio`s, how much was it, where from etc? I want one.

Just a heads up. I noticed a few guys on this last cruise with fog lights on. It is now illegal to have fog lights activated on a clear day or night in Queensland. I forget how much the fine is, it isn`t much but not worth it.

Update. I`ve added the kings 520 front and 310 pound rear coils to my Typhoon. The Mythos are leaving a a bit to be desired. They just okay, I can`t say all bad about them, the very strong shoulder they possess is proving to good for wear. I rounded the craphole off the 2 new Dunlops I had on there in one fairly spirited drive through Somerset Dam. I didn`t pay for those though. For what I paid for the Marangoni`s, its debateable that they should be better for grip. I have not driven my car in the rain for months so wet weather grip I can`t comment on. Are they better than the stock Dunnies? meh. Maybe. They have a better shoulder. If my Whiteline front sway bar arrives and I fit it up, I`d wager the Mythos are going to be further from ideal. They`ll go to the rear of the car soon and subsequently up in smoke.

I asked Pat last week about it, he told me WHiteline had advised him they`d have empty shelves till the end of this week..

I work 6 days a week. It`s hard to get to shops during opening hours, so I either buy online or go to places like ricebarn supercrap etc.. So, I ordered a Whiteline front swaybar for my BF Typhoon. Its 3 weeks ago this sunday... Got a call from the chick at Ricebarn last friday I think, left a msg it`ll be here this tuesday, I go in today and she`s on the phone to Whiteline ( alledgedly ) I get told their ETA is the 30th of October. I thought they made the things?? It takes a month to make a BF front swaybar? Lol, I must have run over a Chinaman or something. I reckon I`d have to get a double quarter pounder ordered in at Macca`s.. I can`t be bothered to get my deposit back, spose I`ll just have to wait. I had an early mark today unusually, so I went in hoping they`d have it and I would have fitted it. After I got the bad news I went to Pedders, nuh.. and no one else had one in stock either. still seems a bit odd that it`s sucj a long wait, not an obscure brand of of car.. Must be just me.
