  1. I was just pulling a figure outa me arse 7 grand for 10 kg, but you see the point. I`ve seen lil ride on lawn tractor batteries used. I wonder that I would. You can get fibreglass all sorts of panels, but fit and finish can be an issue. You can make anything work, though. I`ve seen a few fibre and carbon even looking pretty decent. Legality and insurance may rear their ugly heads. I`m somewhat concerned about say, a stock bonnet is designed to crumple. I`d be scared a carbon bonnet would come through the screen and cut my fool head off. But that's just me, sh!t does happen. It has happened.. Up to you guy, but yeah you need to google and then contact.
  2. Its had nothing to do with car sales for decades.. Its about Caps, shirts decals. Of non automotive products. I think Tony Cochrane is a dead cvnt that's the main reason I don`t watch it.
  3. Think of it: the car is made from plastic where it once was steel, and lotsa alloy too. Where does the near 2 tonnes come from? The bells and whistles, air bags and sensors and kilometres of wiring. You`d have to gut it like a fish. Okay, going to the drags? Loose the spare, jack and liner. The back seat if you can be farked and anything unneccessary like CD`s, the street directory etc. As an aside, I always marvel at high dollar drag cars with carbon fibre this and fibreglass everything else with swiss cheese hole saw work all over it. Then Clarry who wieghs 150 kg wet climbs in. I mean, I`m not slagging big folk, but sh!t a brick, he`d prolly spend 7k taking 10 kg out of the car..
  4. I got nothin`..
  5. Spotted in my carport, I think its a Ford of some kind.. Possibly a Falcon. I`ve had that cover off once in the last 4 weeks. Pretty piss poor really. Meh.

    Anesthetic

I had idea`s of drifting off. For one I`ve always been insomniac to the highest degree. There`s also reasons that made me think I`d drift off that don`t bare going into here. However, the doc put the shunt in my arm, showed me what he was going to use and the next thing I knew a nurse was asking me how I like my coffee an hour later. What I reckon, what I`m hoping, is that okay I`ve got sh!t going on day to day, pressure at work, sole parent etc and I stay on top of it just somehow. The crap they gave me has me running just below par and can`t see the forrest for the trees right now. Which is about as much of my soul I care to bare on a forum. Cheers to all for the positive comments and personal feedback.

    Anesthetic

I don`t drink, smoke or drug I`m not the complete health food Nazi I once was but I do eat well. My job is fairly active, rediculously so at times and I exercise. I certainly don`t act 47 and if I dyed my hair I wouldn`t look it either. I`m not exactly what you`d call happy go lucky at the best of times but jeeez, its like if you get crook and you can think of the precise thing you eat that made you ill. I`m like that with the anesthetic. In a modern world we all have issues to deal with, I certainly do. its like I`ve decended into this mist, I`m telling myself pull up! pull up! like the warning system in a airliner but the controls don`t respond. It`s really arse... However as Frankie Howerd used to say: " I don`t contemplate suicide, I contemplate murder "

    Anesthetic

On Wednesday I went under an anesthestic for a proceedure. I was knocked out, but still breathing for myself. I was out for about an hour. I was told take it easy, can`t return to work etc.. Pffft, I still act and think like a teenager despite turning 47 next month. I didn`t return to work that day though I wanted too, but I did get in the car and drive to the city to see about crap for my car, I was okay. Didn`t sleep for sh!t wednesday night or since but that's nothing new. Worked thursday and friday. 6 - 5 as is the current norm. Since then, I`m comletely fvcked over tired and weak.. But this black dog has come and sat beside me ( depression ) and I can`t shake it. Without putting too fine a point on it its pretty friggin dark eh. Anyone shed any light? I keep fvcking things up too..
  10. A guy stole drugs off him in some fashion, so Adam and an acomplice set fire to his genitals before killing him and seting fire to a car containing the body. You know, as you do.. Lol Karl, great minds think alike, I thought the same thing.
  11. Scroll up see the lol in my post, Spiro. As I stated previously I do understand how busy he is. I was taking aim at you for hogging him for yourself. I have paitence. Good things come to those that wait.
  12. I was thinking Kyle was handling the bottom end change over and would be unable to turn his attention elsewhere? ie; further dicussions with me regarding me car.
  13. Well lol, I won`t count on a call from Kyle anytime soon..
  14. So, I`m reading between the lines that the new huge engine is going in and so will the TH 400?
  15. oFF TOPIC: Brother came good one xmas, he prolly cleaned out his drawer at work.. Old man got a P&H belt Buckle, a Nicholsons Heavy Haulage hat ( they carted our big draglines for us ) my ex got a Cat racing cap and I got a coveted Brambles cap.. One with the suede peak and " ask me about safety " on the back.. I loved ( not just liked ) that cap.. I acrimoniously split with that sociapathic slag.. With the passage of time I could prolly forgive most of the evil shot she did, but she somehow disposed of my Brambles cap. And this I DO NOT forgive.. Not near 10 years later. Back to topic thanks gents..
  16. lol, leave me out of it, my brother is fabrication shop foreman at Hastings Deering and I can`t get a friggin` cap out of him...
  17. Drott is a trax cavator. Basically a dozer with a loader bucket and hydraulics. lol, they are great for their intended purpose, but are an absolute bastard of a thing to use purely as a loader for like a bin truck down the paddock, unless you were in really snotty going..
  18. I`d let a shop do it, unless I had a hoist or a pit. My local dealer did my left side mount under warranty and it didn`t hurt me a bit. With wheel ramps or chassis stands, I`d only do it at gun point.
  19. Cat after sales service makes putting up with less than up to the minute ergonomics everytime. Upfront cost would be a real factor in a 13 ton machine which sorta answers why you want to avoid Cat machinery. We have couple Komatsu 45`s, an older Hitachi that's a bucket of bolts and hard to keep running long enough to sell, and a Newish Cat which is really lovely.. Komatsu`s are a pretty good thing but parts can be an issue, didn`t Komatsu shut up shop in QLD? We have a 25 ton Hyundai which is quite nice to sit on but she`s a bit past the use by. Personally, I`d stretch the budget and buy Cat.. But I am biased.
  20. that's the only good idea amongst the lot..
  21. 6boost fit studs and nuts for exhaust manifolds I understand, try them at 6Boost.com - Custom Turbo Exhaust Manifolds Either email or call Kyle and see what he recommends.
  22. Just personally, no offence intended to you mate, if I had a sidewall blow on me I`d fit the spare and would never have Triangle double golden dragon widow maker Transylvanian donkey cart tyres anywhere near any of my cars. But that's just me.
  23. Hey! get back to work, SLACKER!!!!
  24. I heart noice tits..
  25. Oooh, you did a bit. lol.. Respect your elders sonny. Lol, I was farkin ropeable half the time my car was off the road anyway. Until I bought it home half arse finished and went racing in it.
