Lol, I know.. Next time taste it, A/C water dun taste like nuffin, ATF tastes like almonds. Opens the sluices too, they tell me. Be like a colonic detox. I used it as a 2 stroke oil substitute when I was still married and on the bones of my arse. Put it in me weedeater, it smelled like bad B.O. with the motor runnin`..

Ah so, the cable wasn`t broken, it was just a pin or retainer not secured properly? Um Matty, what colour is you air con water, matey? Need to start driving it too work again.

Isn`t the filter integral with the pan, and would be supplied if you buy service kit? There are threads about servicing the ZF on here somewhere.

I have a self bleeder, I know a few bleeding tricks. I just prefer to do it the old fashioned way, all you need is someone with more than a dozen brain cells pumping the pedal farkin. A good portion of my life has been spent around machinery and when I was very young I spent some time desilting dams with Chev Blitz`s. Some properties we`d rip brake lines off all the damned timein log and snag strewn long grass. Funny how even if you got them perfeck, Blitz brakes always need pumping. 30 years later I to this day, pump the brakes on anything I drive. I went for a good drive just now after hosing the wheels and surrounding areas very well to see how it was going to be and to get rid of any brake fluid residue. Its better I suppose and as stated above, after many applications its still quite consistent. SO, with DBA 5000`s front DBA 4000 rear, braided lines, new pads and fresh Penrite SIN brake fluid that's the brakes done. Car stops.

here`s a pic of the bracket you need to drill the rivet out of and reattach. The lil C clip goes on this new bracket also. None of this was rocket surgery, however if you`re not fully confident don`t piss around with brakes especially if you reside in South East Queensland, the life you save may be mine. I got Bullpitt out to assist with one final brake bleed this morning figuring it would be a good idea to just go round one last time after driving it yesterday and parking over night. So, up on 4 stands, all wheels off, start at passenger rear and the dopey *beep* pumped the pedal while I had the bleeder cracked farkin. I said to myself something or other, he said later " you said summin bout a hose " Did I say PUMP IT UP, HOLD, or RELEASE??? Fair Dinkum eh.. So the reservoir looked like a shaken bottle of coke. I`m about to put wheels on now. Bit disappointed its not really any better than before regarding feel. It might not be politically correct but I don`t really like ABS..

Who`s Mister Grumpy Trousers? While I certainly realise that humourous intent is not always ( if ever ) properly conveyed with out facial expression, I thought we were all joking. My comment intially was to merely say that I am older, nothing more. I`m often referred to as " the old man " in many situations, as I am here among a group of young guys with fast cars. I refer to that video of our cars in complete and utter humour at MY expense. I would be delusional to think otherwise. I shall not mention it again. Goals achieved in business and much less on the racetrack, I somehow doubt anyone with any real substance will reflect on in the autumn of their lives. My proudest moments are not for public consumption, they are mine alone. I certainly may act impulsively at times, however I am most assuredly not precious in any way. I do appologise if my brand of humour hasn`t found its mark here, this is my final word on this matter I wish well in any and all of you personal endevours, Mr Anton.

Achievments? What, you want to see that video again? Some are born to greatness, others have it thrust upon them. Chiropractor? When I have health issues I either ignore them or see a doctor. The Bogan? don`t bag the guy who tightens your lug nuts. I may not go down in history, But I`d .. How does the rest of that go?

You`re only a pup! barely out of short pants..

So today against any sane regard for torn rib cartilage I fitted my braided lines to all 4 corners, my DBA 4000 rear rotors and RB24 pads. Front was a breeze, the rear had couple niggles. I have a single carport so side room sucks arse. Couple times I lay down and had to : TYSON!? Came `ere eh? stick my left hand out and Stepson had to hoist me to my feet. Rear rotor removal was no major hurdle. I hit the centre with a wire brush sand paper and Lanotec spray and a bit of persuasion with Big Augie the 5 lb club hammer and off they came. Drivers side had a couple cleat thingy`s on the threads, only 2 though so I flicked them off and it was all good. Next thing, where the hose attaches to the steel line on the rear, there`s a plate that's apart of the line, you gotta drill the rivet off and remove. See pics. No major hassle really. What had me shagged was the C clips Howard sent me. They are too small. Farkin. My normally has everythink! shop had nothing, it was 3pm wreckers are closed so it was REPCO and the kid gimme a couple E clips, the circlip ones. I packed the gap up with one each and got it too work. Howard is getting an Email on monday no 2 ways about it. OEM rear pads and rotors were barely 25% gone despite 60,000 klms and many many wonderfull burnouts at the drags. Ahem, drags.. Is it betterer? Will be when I re-bleed it all, I ran outa time. Ugh camera in car, pics to follow

Yay, insomnia. I got a text as I went to bed at whatever time that was, I`m up now and wasn`t surprised to see the thread on the top of the list was this one here. Let`s hope Spiro is correct. Warrantee hopefully if its not just some oversight? Fingers crossed. I thought I had used all the bad luck on offer for SE QLD yesterday Matt.

lol.. everytime a forum member is in Europe, particularly Germany they post: zomfg I wish I had my F6 or T here!!!! I`d love to see what mine would do. What would a 400rwkw T do?? Mines not that powerful but still.. Be interesting eh. PS, didn`t those Seth Efrican fellas also set a BLIND kilometre record? With a blind gy driving??
