  1. So whose got the magic wand coz I've got very much the same thing happeing as the others from the beginning of this thread. Had the tyres balanced and checked, rotated and re-balanced. Took the mech/tyre dude for a spin and yep still the same. Bought it back and checked for obvious wear, movement anything on front end - zip all looks good. its done 71,000, 6 month old DBA's Ferodo's - doesn't seem brake related but at the same time doing stuff to the wheels makes no diff either. nipped down south and after an hour of shudder I was ready to throw a match !! any good news from someone whose had this?
  2. chasing recommendations on good places in Perth for servicing my 03 XR6T. 74,000 km's warranty not an issue, had a custom tune , CAPA box etc from Simon @ XFT, great job. It's my daily driver but I also push it around Wanneroo, Motorplex and some AHG days, so in any given month I get all can out of the 245 rwkw. so now the question where have others taken their vehicles for the usual service but who you're confident understand what needs doing to keep these beasts well oiled and understand what modifed means. I could take to any number of places where they'll pour who knows what in it, swap a filter, blacken the tyres and reckon it's good for another 15,000 k's. I work in the city and live south, don't mind where so long as it's relatively easy to drop off and get to work for the day. cheers Ed

    Brake Upgrade

hi all, new to the forum so if this has been covered previously and is archived somewhere just point me in the right direction. Have a BA xr6T 64k and have a serious brake shudder, suspect rotor(s) may need skimming, I'm looking at replacing front rotors and pads with an upgrade, vented rotors and pads better suited to incresed heat load. any suggestions or recommendations on what to do or what to stay away from would be appreciated. cheers Ed
