So we have pulled and cut the front drivers side section out to try to remove complete manifold and turbo side, its so pushed in and looks like the turbo housing has some a bit of movement due to impact so hopefully its just loose! Will know more tomorrow id say :(

Yeah I noticed that too! ha ha it was white and we purchased it from a mate, maybe he didn't know either.

So ill start off with our car "XR6 Turbo" BF with an FG setup and over 440 rwkws was written off in an accident I had, now we have just acquired a rare XR6 NA with the ZF and in Chromaflair (Fantasy) with apparently 1000 made. We will put most of the running gear into this new car and start all over again. Each time we do some mods ill keep adding pictures of the build and if I run into any issues I'm sure this site and friends could help me. This is going to be one epic run and long process but where committed. Thanks Let the build begin

Had a massive accident at the beginning of May on the way to work, everyday I regret not taking the sh*t box and taking our beloved JET my wife and I worked so hard to build! I managed to correct a side impact full lock on steering wheel and hit drivers side front end where I stopped taking out a power pole. Not going to go into details because I still find it hard to sleep at night, Car is written off but we bought it back from the insurance company on a buy back option!
Our plan of attack is salvage every part which is motor, turbo, gearbox and hopefully most of our mods to use in another project.
Looking into donor shells as XR6's with the ZF will be a bonus and an easier task than what I have found out.
Bring on the next chapter!

Nah haven't bought anything yet but have found some XR6's to become a donor shell I guess you could say, I wouldn't want to waste cash on another turbo when I managed to buy back the written off turbo with most of the mods in working order! Thanks that's some great info mate! I think in the long run its better to look for another ZF XR6 so most of the wiring is already done! cheers Its devastating still to see but I'm still alive!

Long story short, I recently was in an accident and wrote our XR6 BF Turbo ZF 6 speed off! We bought it back and will be again taking part in another build! Found a great tidy BF II XR6 07 model but it is an Auto 4 speed for some reason, and have been thinking its still well worth swapping most mods over but the only drama would be how much effort is it to put the ZF in this 07 model? Love to have some feedback please! Been too long since I've even been on this web page
