Just bought a second hand 2012 MK2 Xr6 Turbo Auto Sedan... has a couple of months factory warranty so wanted to check some potential issues with you guys: 1. Typical Diff clunk only after coming off full throttle (I read a new car review and the reviewer said this was normal!) so not too worried about that. 2. When cold, If you ease on the throttle the car wont move until you hit certain revs then it surges... only for the first corner really then it is ok after that... am I wrong to assume this just cold it is cold?!?! Or is this the start of a potential transmission issue that I am unaware of. Its a tiny bit rough at cold start but goes away really quickly as well. 3. radio reception cuts in and out from mono to stereo all the time. Will Ford do anything about this? Other than that the car drives like a dream! Super smooth even with factory 19s on it. I noticed the automatic seems adaptive (I.e. if you are giving it some it holds the gear for a bit, instead of just changing straight to 6th when you are off throttle - unless this is an issue haha) Cheers guys

Hey Guys, Have been having a slight problem with My 03 Turbo Ute for ages now. When rolling in neutral (clutch in or gearstick stick in neutral) sometimes the revs bounce of about 500 rpm and correct back to normal and this keeps happening until the car comes to a complete stop (sometimes it does stop when the car stops). It's odd as some days it doesnt happen at all, and some days it happens for the whole trip. I have this problem more when its colder and raining... dunno if that's any help? When its cold sometimes it can go down to 250rpm and almost stall before going back up again to 900 or whatever the standard is. Not sure what it is? Could it be a clutch problem? I know the clutch is loud as when the car is in neutral (sounds like a washing machine with tiny rocks in it) though my mechanic reckons its a performance clutch cos he saw a pink ring or something... but honestly I have no idea, just need someone to point me in the right direction.. Any ideas guys Cheers p.s sorry its not the best description, I did try!!

gday guys (and gurls) ive had a problem with the brakes on my turbo (mk1) ute for a while now.... when braking lightly, rolling (not driving) slowly down inclines my brakes make an awful noise and feel like that are slipping, but then grip soon after.. then the other day a camry cut me off, and when I broke heavy, I felt the same thing happen to the brakes again, but this time, after I continued driving, my abs warning light came on and stayed on. I was crapping myself cosi thought it would be some sort of abs thing that costs around $1000 to fix.. but after work I turned the car on and the warning was gone. Just wondering if anyone had the same/similar problems and know how to rectify it if possible. my mechanic (not ford) is a good guy and cant find a problem with it, so I am stumped. cheers guys

nah mate, stay away! one kilometer in a cop car is worth about 10 in a regular car! especially more pursuit type ones like the t... you can do better than an ex cop car that's for sure

hey guys just an update! thanx to all your help! I got the snorkel fitted! and its fu*king awesome! the first gear change I did scared me! the blow off sound (or watever its called) is that much louder than it was before! and the best part! I got the snorkel off a panel beater mate of mine from ford for $55! best $55 ive ever spent!!! cheers again guys!

ok sorry I didnt see it all, I am an idiot haha yeh mines a ba to, I think the soft rubber is made for bf, so that's why I was worried. a mate is getting it for me, so its pot luck what price I am gonna pay!
