  1. yeah that is rwkws, If u treat it well they seem to be fine. I got my tuner to make my boost come on smooth as to reserve my gearbox and clutch, but later on I will be going a t56, just wish there were more options out there.
  2. I have 300+ on the t5 with standard clutch and have had it like that for about 2 months now, and I give it a bit. Still strong. 90000ks on the clock
  3. This is a great reason for all ACT people to get together and meet, we are a small group. Not many modded xr's rolling around. This is a great oportunity to meet alot of other new and interesting people with other new and interesting cars.
  4. Yeah glen really does know his stuff there

    300.3 Rwkw

60LB Injectors Xforce Full Exhaust walbro Fuel pump CAI Valve Springs And stock t5 and stock clutch:(... looking for a gearbox upgrade...
  6. I would like to know if this is bad for your car, I have dekas too and mine does it at idle... sounds like aggresive timing? mine started after a tune

    300.3 Rwkw

Achieved a 300.3rwkw @ 10 psi thanks to Glen at ESP racing canberra Will try get a dyno sheet up soon, he has just made it smooth boost curve, to try preserve my T5 and stock clutch lol
  8. Dont be a Idiot ASh, rather spend 500$ on the tune, instead of 5000 on a new engine.. you know who this is
  9. I would Say dead silence is quite a scary movie, anything with puppets freaks me out
  10. It actually came down to 500$ for the tune I recieved compared to the 990$. And I was told "should be fine" about the exhaust at gen tech. . I was not told about any nuts or bolts that were needed . all in all I ended up paying 2999$ for that and the CAI. And you kept my Original exhuast... I am sure you guys do great work there and I have heard many great things about Gentech, but way to expensive for what it is, you should really have your prices comparable to sydney prices. which are way more realistic. I didnt start this thread to have a go at Gen Tech, another forum member asked me about "gentech" so I replied with my experince of it.
  11. been thinking of driving up to sydney to get these things done just to save myself some cash. but luckly I have found ESP
  12. Gen tech quoted me 2030$ for the exact same thing, they want 990$ for a tune, which I think is a rip, I got my exhaust and CAI done by them quite a few months ago, and said it would be fine to drive around with till I get a tune, now since I called them they are saying that they did not say that and do not recommend it. it cost me 3000 for a xforce exhaust and cai installed, no tune.
  13. Just wanted some advice I am getting my car Tuned in Canberra at ESP They quoted me around $1400 for the following: ( I am supplying my parts myself Ie capa box, springs injectors and pump) Injectors installed valve Springs installed Fuel Pump installed And a Tune Does that sound right? for that price... we are limited for tuners here in canberra thanks guys
  14. thanks guys! that was the answer I was looking for!
  15. As the title says if I install a Aftermarket BOV, say a Turbosmart Megasonic, would I need a retune? some mates have told me I would need to ? thanks guys
