  6. Hey matt, Where abouts in st albans? I went to 2 locks smiths in sunshine and the key wouldn't fit in there machines.
  7. It's a fg flip key made for a ba though... Ford want to much to do it
  8. I bought the ba flip key and wanted to know where in melb I can get it cut? been to a few places and they said they don't have the right machine to do it...
  9. here is a pic, finally got around to washing it...
  10. I was going to get my gauges installed today and I get a phone call telling me to go back to the shop, so I went back and the guy who was installing the gauges said the boost/vac gauge was fine but the oil pressure gauge was a problem because the sender and the wiring don't match up... now I bought these brand new so I wasn't sure if he was right or not so just wanted to confirm with someone who has this gauge (cobalt oil pressure 6153)... I mean what he said is right because you cant plug in the wire into the sender because it does not match but I thought maybe there was a way to get around it? Or autometer just packed the wrong cable. Any info would be great, cheers!
  11. yeah I think I am going to order them from the states after all... everywhere in aus pretty much want $400 for 1 gauge. Ended up getting a price for two from us for $520 AU which is way cheaper then anywhere else I can find. gauges im getting are the Autometer 6159 Boost vacuum electric full sweep and the Autometer 6153 Oil pressure electric full sweep also
  12. anyone know where I could get a good price on cobalt gauges in aus? I keep finding US sites.
  13. looks and feels so much better! Or you can do what this bloke i know did... cut the stick from about half way, shorten it and then weld it back on... sounds like a real crap way to do it but he has been driving with it like that for about a year now and smashes the gears in a lot of the time and its still perfectly fine.
  14. haha my first gear is pointing out my window, and 3 hours? damn thats long... i found a old topic about installing one but didn't want to attempt it myself so i went to a mates workshop, took him about a hour, main problem was getting the knob off the stick, it was like they welded it on!
