also, have a look at how much gap there is between the block and the fitting. its not supposed to sit flush .... -
I think your lifters would be making noise if they were shot.

in the line I can hear piston slap when cold, but the pfc doesnt pick it up. but its a dinosoar, lol.

knock sensors normally only pick up pinging, and should be turned off in your car with a forged motor. when its being tuned just use the knock ears. my knock is higher when cold too, but dont get up it when the pistons are cold. retune time 4u though.

my ute made 340rwk at 17psi stock manifold. then with a 6boost it made 373rwk 15psi ... stock turb ext gate and .70 comp. oh but I changed from a p/w st2 cooler to a stage 3 aswell.

aslong as u have a good cooler u will be fine.
