well I would recomend something like the GT40R (4094 not the 4088) and the GT42Rs (4202). should spool pretty fast on a 4.0ltr and would make killer power higher up. spool is a very difficult thing to messure. it will be different for every gear you pull in and is very dependent on other mods. 9K might be a little high but with a forged crank I recon 8K should be doable! the LS V8 guys rev past that and they have longer strokes (I think). back to the twin turbo, what hosuings are the standard turbos?? I have seen alot of the HIGH BHP skylines are using GT3540s. might be worth looking at these turbos. if the A/Rs are similar then the stock turbos might work! and being internally gated would help with packaging. also have a look at Tial (I think) stainless steel housings. they are supposed to be smaller, lighter, keeep the heat better, spool faster and come with 3inch V-Band conections going both in and out the hotside of the trubo!! also what size do people go for when using a BIG single?? GT42/45/47??????? I think a pair of GT35rs would work fantastic on the 4ltr! fast response with a SH!T load of top end cappability. Cheers Chris.

the intercooler on the Focus is small. alot of the guys here in the UK stick nice big intercoolers in there and they work MUCH better. esp when you turn the boost up. by the way what kind of BHP are you guys running with these?? think 300bhp is about the norm here. Cheers Chris.

Ford NEED to do this RS right! the last one was a p!ss poor effort at building an Escort Cosworth for the 21st centry! the new one MUST be 4WD to even get a look at a scooby or an Evo. I love this new engine though, strong, good size and VERY tunable (you should see what the sweeds do with these things!!!!). I really really hope they get this one right and give everyone what they have been waiting for for a long time! Chris.

bassically as the titles says, on a built motor with all the supporting mods (inc. trans ect) whats the most boost you can push?? also what kind of power could you exspect to see?? and who are running these really big figures?? im new here so please dont flame too much Cheers Chris
