Driven every day, why just this morning scrapped my front bar on a gutter! work, movies, going out, random drives, wet, dry, dusty, snow all done! Keep the T looking good with a wash & vac once a week though.
Ya I remember the no speeding rule, the last mac pass run , I still feel sorry for who ever was behind me in the black T Love the coast rd, know it well!
ha so a few members have moved onto something a little more safe than bikes eh? I'll joing that group of 'hurting one self on motorbikes then moving back to safer vehicles'
Trough Lolly No offense taken mate, we decided to use the 3.5" pipe to twin 2 1/4" splitter further back to hopefully avoid any serious flow restrictions/back pressure issues. No point in putting in a high flow cat then strangling it straight away into smaller pipes. Still expecting over 300 kw with this set up on about 13psi so we will see I guess Adam, I wanted the whole front section as one piece mate hence no flange, easier to drop out of the way to do any work etc
better late than never, mechanic had dramas fitting new clutch so apologies for the late photos. dodgey mobile photos please excuse quality. 3.5" metal cat flanged to stock dump (S/S) x-force 3.5" - twin 2 1/4" splitter (MS) dump -> cat -> splitter -> stock rear flange twin 2 1/4" hotdogs looking towards cat (Ms) Verdict, Love it! all flanged connections for easy removal Not good if you have a headache though Kudos to RAP1D Systems for the rear milo tin set up and Kirrawee Mufflers for the excellent craftsmanship and price ( 02 9542 4111)
Sasha, I was going to do same thing but I put a larger core on instead though. Great Idea mate, notice and difference besides looks? ps your bar looks to have dropped just like mine =( seems to be a common thing ..
Cheers didnt mean to rush ya! missus was going for a hot rock massage... All I will say is the Jungle Juice will put lead in your pencil haha! I'm 22 and never had it before! Organised cruise up through Peats Ridge rd would be good, turn off at the pub and go through cessnock instead of the dirt trail you wre taking photos of (I got that far and turned around) Was great seeing a fellow member out and about, will definatley meet up ona crusie mate. keep safe Ryan
I got mine done through insurance after I was smashed into. Pedders Suspension did mine in a few hours, had to drill & burn the old flogged out bush to remove it. New poly bush they put in is wonderfull now. Personally I wouldn't eplace it myself but that's my opinion..
DG, BA mk1 stock system is twin 2 1/4" pipes from cat back mate. Metal cat 3.5" s/s metal packed internals. my exhaust shop ordered it in in a day mate... 3.5" to twin 2 1/4" Xforce splitter was $70 supplied & fitted As for how it sounds it sounds, sweet! burbles and has a nice and deep note, doesnt drone but I have been taking it easy since no custom tune at the present time. Dont worry DG I looked around for a while first, didnt like the systems on offer so had this built up to be different and I am happy I did it, really happy with the results so far.. Cheers Ryan
Turboboy, do you remember being surprised by a blood oragne BA T waiting for you to do your photo shoot on the bridge at Wollombi mate? I was at wollombi for a few days and happened to run into you (ableit slow crawl past) crap roads up there in sections... Hope the locals didn't get two annoyed with 2 T's running around that day and tell me you sampled the jungle juice on the way???
Got done today - 3.5" metal cat to stock exhaust with xforce splitter (3.5" to twin 2 1/4") - replace centre muffler with two hot dog style resonators $70 per side
