Spoted a silver T with F6 front bar at the lights at the top of Taren point rd (caringbah) the other day. he waved, sorry for being rude, in a daze going to work a at 6am.. I float around the matraville area a bit now people (well long bay anyway) so wave if you see a blood orange ba (aoh 03e) and a mate has just bought a black BA mk1 too..

Skylines, silvias, supra's, etc all the little Jap imports its almost too easy all of the time, LS2 is a pretty fair run, R32 VW bloody quick for what they are, found out the hard way, as for eveything else I just yawn and dont really try anymore, not a challenge...

If you take off the black trim it shows the plastic mounts that are part of the bar. grind theses f***ers off and then the opening is enlarged. down side is now you see the "egg shells" plastic reo thingys, help support the bar so I'm told also, screwed onto the metal crash reo, chop theses away then all you are left with is seeing a bit of the metal reo once the bar is back on. I ripped mine out, trimed the egg shell thingys and meshed the front bar, up close you see the reo but at a distance it looks ok. each to there own I guess or get it sprayed same colour as the car... note you still see the reo a bit... and the trimmed plastic egg shell thingys... lsat 3 or so in the bottom are still there otherwise bye bye!

ugh! fugly doesnt even to begin to describe that abomination...

so guys and girls here are a few happy snaps of the black and painted plastics back in the XR. just waiting on a roof re-trim quote and it'll be all done!

they quite well may, but I have the "problem" of tinkering/painting/changing things randomly or for no apparent reason appart from I can do it. personally I like the black interior look, much better than the sh*tty grey colour look from factory that lets the fords down.

SCRIBR yes it is mate, I now have 18% tints and even without the C pillars and roof done its still very dark!

mate check your intercooler pipes and check there aligned propelry as it sounds like you may have popped one off. I did the throttle body connector on my t one night, it still drove fine just sounded louder but didnt boost much ( no go'ee as you put it)... Ryan
