  1. Meh had white wheels before on my R33, doesn't bother me as my xr gets cleaned every weekend so shouldn't be a problem... RHR I'll take a pic for ya with the rims sitting there, also not sure on tyres, any recomendations?
  2. Gaol sex? Geez I come on here to get away form work boys....... but yes getting old now.. Reg, Dennis is a grat bloke, had a long chat with him today and gotta see him on thursday about some...plans... It will be great to see the xr8 have a go in the dry, especially up mt kiera!
  3. Likewise my old man passed on the same trait, although sometimes you just have to ignore it haha Diff bush being rooted usually results in loud clunking when cornering, slow speed manouvers and forward to reverse changes, extreme cases you can hear it outside the car, kinda like your towing a trailer with too much weights and its banging against the tow ball....
  4. As Bluute has stated its hard to get a decent photo, pictures don't do it justice, real life does. Roof, pillar trims and dash are all so very close in colour, maybe a poofteenth here or there out, but so so close it only shows up different under a flash I went suade over the factory trim upon trimmers advice, softer, easier than trying to remove old material from the headlining board. Dye can work with good results sometimes but its inconsistant, hence why did it first up and had it trimmed
  5. Sorry guys, going onto a Blood Orange sedan.. I am hoping they look as good as I thought they might, we will have to wait and see I guess..
  6. Shane from Art Trim, he is based at Bangor, at the moment he is working out of his house, great work and quick turn around, his mate put up a post of his custom trimmed VL.... Shane 0421929235

    Mcgangbang

bahaha imagine the 14 year old girls face when you ask for a McGangBang! GOLD! but sickly at the same time....
  8. New wheels arrived for the Jaffa today, next up tyres and dumped on top of the rims! APEC 18" x 8" white 6 spokes with polished lip, very light wheels to pick up! hard to find in 5 stud also so it was the perfect ebay bargin!
  9. Not sure on the removal but to hazard a guess it would come out the door quite easily, else how do ford install it in the first place? Pictures! Have since learnt suade is a bitch to keep all uni-directional.....
  10. starting off from the bottom in a new career means bottom level waves for a while for me..... 600-700 but I do get O/T
  11. next time we should make sure we get some photos, park somewhere and take a few happy snaps of the cars all lined up...
  12. I was left all alone at said lights, after about 4 cars ran through the red light to the amusement of the road workers there but not to the amusement of the red VE SS that came hooting through the shopping centre and limpet'd itself on my rear bar untill he got bored with me dawdling along campbeltown road past the domaine, joyce main, lighting shops, service stations and dodgy looking panel beaters and car yards... Reg, group but on a decent CB coming up, mine died too, all I was getting was squelch at the back.. Plenty of great moments: MRDOSE, I think the old bloke in the sigma almost died when you hooted past him then his pace maker probably got out and walked when I did the same thing haha Dennis in the xr8 ripping 1st, 2nd then into 3rd with much black smoke clouds being turned white, at the top of mt keira the hard on the breaks when the whole file stopped 200m up the road Mr Highway patrol cruising into North Gate Maccas, just for a look, then stopping dead when seeing all the cars parked up... And in general the whole cruise was a hoot even in the wet! Great people, Great time had by all I hope.. Catch you all on the next one! Ryan

Try and do a pre-apprentice ship course at uni also, would help getting a start! Any courses you can do after you start (ie the more quals you have the better, think fibre optic's and specialised stuff) or maybe look at the defence forces to do the trade is another avenue to explore also!
  22. ok dawdle with cute little flames popping out the back mick I can do that for ya mate no worries...
  23. tea spoon cayenne pepper powder + fresh glove of garlic, crushed + Large glass of warm water + Whole lemon, juiced, pulp included + few tea spoons of honey to sweeten it a bit = "kick A germ juice" Smells bad, tastes bad but have it before bed and in the morning you will be fine..

    The Job Thread

I am 23 now.. I had no idea what I wanted to do in school, stuck it out went and got my HSC and UAI. Straight after year 12 I fell into a Fitter & Turner apprenticeship, finished that and ran a crew of 5 in the workshop and 3 on the road doing service work and manufacturing Oil/water Separators, rain tanks, grey water systems etc etc, pretty good for a 22 year old. Cracked it with the boss and the sh*t conditions and had a few jobs on the side (panel beater, detailer, spray painter, landscaper) while looking for something more rewarding and career based. Got a start with the Dept. Corrective Services as a correctional officer and loving every day of work so far! still have a casual job at kennards hire as extra $$$ but sh*t easy work that is. NSW DCS wise long term plans are getting into EHS transport unit, the base grades there is a shat load of O/T out there and it's not unusual for a probationary officer to take home 100k per year (double on, single off, double on etc) but I am more interested in the career move.. "I can also be a fairly recession proof industry" quite true, country goes into recession, crime goes up = ,ore gronks in gaols = more officers needed = more shifts and $$$
  25. Saturday night run hey??? Hmmm yup I am also in! I dare say Chris would be in also, just wait until he stumbles along and see's the thread..
