Not always the case with the loose bolts, I had a boost leak that was caused by a few loose bolts and all that I could hear differently was a sort of ticking sound while spooling up. Sometimes with a few bolts it also sounds like a truck though

Hotside and actuator I think. Springs getting fitted on wednesday up here I'll ask how much to fit the actuator. If its not ridiculous ill get it done then. I'd like to also try and make sure that all the exhaust and turbo bolts are tight so there is no leaking. Not sure if it's a coinsidence but the ute is only bootsing to 7psi now. I've had the exhaust leak for a while so the actuator must be stck or broken as of last night.

Benda, go a flash tune and injectors. You'll hit the 240 mark with that. Hey FPV6T mate just check with BPS about that 15lb actuator you bought. I spoke to James about my car yesterday and he only reccomended an 8 pound one for my ute.

Ok so ive figured out I have an exhaust leak, thought 1 or 2 bolts were maybe loose. Pulled the heat shields of and 50% of that bastards are loose. So I tightend all that I can get to. Here is where my problem comes in. There are 4 bolts that holds the manifold to the back of the turbo (pretty sure that's what the parts r called) Now I can only get to 1 bolt with a spanner from above the motor. I can fell with my fingers that 2 are loose and 1 has completly fallen out. What I would like to know is, is it possible to reach these from underneath the car? If not what has to come off to access and tighten them? Or do I have to take it to ford/mechanic to get these all tight again? Also seeing as this has happend a few times, are there better bolts I can get that dont come loose as easy?

Wow I should give up cars. Gt my ute on the dyno at about 3.30 first run pssssss an exhaust bolt had come loose in the 2 weeks after id tightend all of them. Car only ran 330rwhp which is well down on what it should have.

How were you going to come to this even if your car was ready?
