  7. Dropped car off at mechanics today to have clutch pulled out. Spoke to the manufacturer on the phone yesterday and he said if his product is at fault he'll be supplying new clutch and paying for pull out and re-install costs, but if it's not his fault then he aint having nothing to do with it. Been told by mechainc it's deffianlty the clutch so will be interesting to ehar what clutch man has to say when it arrives on friday.

  16. yeah I'll give the manufacturer a call tomorrow and see what he suggests, like you said pat I can't see there being a real warrenty on a clutch though.
  17. a good one. Good reputation and a few of my mates have his clutch in. I went with them over Mal wWoods as they were local
  18. Ok so I recently purchased a brand new clutch from a NON forum sponsor. I was told that it was capable of holding 350rwks. I've got 290 kws at the wheels but ran the clutch in for 1000kms on my low boost tune. Once I had clocked up 1000kms a few days ago I switched over to my high boost tune. Clutch was great for a few days, but now is slipping and burning just like my stock one. I've never really been in this situation and don't really know what to do, I just want to stop spending money -.- What are my options, never really been in this situation...... Cheers Mitch
  19. I really don't wanna go down the path to be honest. But I can't keep spending my one day a week off sitting in a workshop somewhere spending my wage. But to answer no I wouldn't get another one. I would buy myself a house.
  20. :banghead: Not sure how much longer I can do this for. It appears that the ute is having more problems. That few days its been boosting less and less up in the 4000pm + range in each gear. It now feels like the exact same as it did before the new clutch went in. Got out from driving home today and the smell of burnt clutch was hard to miss. Gonna take it to dyno on thursday to see what is going wrong. If something has to be replaced/fixed there will be an 05 T ute for sale in the coming days......
