you're better off getting a 3.5" system. and if your budget is tight, definately better off getting a second system on here. something with a good name to it aswell. xforce catback are pretty dam cheap these days, around $420 brand new on ebay.

just took it down to the mechanics today and he said he couldnt find anything wrong with it, and the only two things he could see was either the rattling heatshield or...the bov fluttering slightly during boost!

Actually now that u mention it, I tightened the turbo bolts a few weeks ago and I lost one of the screws for the turbo heatshield. That could be a possibility. I'll try and get a audio sample but might be a bit hard because the rattle sound might not come through loud enough over the sound of the turbo spool and exhaust. It only happens when the car is under load.

ive had my suspicions about the actuator cos the guy I bought my car off said he had it changed to a 12psi actuator...but then when I had it tuned they said it was still the stock one!! should I get this looked at asap? I dont want to do any damage

It's pretty close to stock. Just had a mild tune, new intercooler piping, cold air and bov. The rattling noise isn't a bearing going or sumthing similar?? What kind of issues would a wastegate not working properly cause?

Hey guys I have had my ba xr6t serviced recently and apparently the wastegate isn't operating correctly :S when I get around full boost I can hear a sort of rattling/chattering around the turbo area, I think it's the bov that is opening and closing very slightly. Is this a big problem?? Does this just mean that there is slight boost leak?

riteo. I could just leave it but it seems to be getting worse. I dont want to hit a pothole and the whole bumper falls off!

hey guys I just noticed that my front bumper seems to be sagging a bit. the passenger side around the light seems to have dropped about 1cm and theres an obvious gap between the bumper and the light assembly now. how the heck did this happen?? I havent hit anything. prehaps the clips have broken?? if this is the case...where would I get new clips from?

XF Falcon, do u know of any good places in perth?? I was considering going to mindarie exhaust but they too expensive. I bought the cat back xforce parts off ebay brand new for $450, but mindarie said they were gonna charge me $800 for parts alone! joondalup exhaust good? ive had previous cars done there for reasonable price

ok now I get it! so if im running a twin 2.5" system from the cat back and installing a 4inch dump, what sort of cat should I be looking at?? id need something with a 4" inlet and outlet? ....or would I be better off getting a smaller dump pipe? I just dont want to buy all the parts and then find out id done the wrong thing!

hey guys I installed my autometer boost gauge on the weekend but its NOT registering vaccuum... it just sits at 0 when the engines idling. I connected it with a T piece down behind the battery (where the guys at the performance store originally connected it) and still not working. how do I get it to read vaccumm??

This probably a stupid question but if u buy the altezza lights with the LEDs in them, do u just put them straight in or do u have to rewire things differently...?? -
I put in a bit more fuel and about 10km later on the freeway it suddenly fixed itself :S very weird...

im not sure what happened, but I went to the petrol station and put in half a tanks worth...hopped back in the car and the fuel said it was still on empty with 10km range!!! has a plug or a wire disconnected somehow??? it was working fine last nite. I have noticed there is a wire with a plug on it coming out of the ecu that isnt connected to anything. its a rather short wire (10cm max) and ive looked everywhere in the wires range but theres nothing for it to get plugged into :S
