  1. would it matter if I circulate this through the turbo? Or should I add a t piece and split the pipe?
  2. Hey guys, I have always wondered what is the purpose of the little hose which connects between both the heater hoses? I removed the hose a while ago, to circulate my water feed and water return for my turbo when I converted my car. Does this affect anything? Cheers
  3. will a xr6 turbo 4spd auto bolt directly to my ba falcon n/a 4spd? Reason is that I found a bargain rebuilt box capable of handling 300rwkw +, and I need that to handle my turbo converted motor as my gearbox will fail shortly. Cheers
  4. Hey guys, I am about to install my xr6t map sensor to my turbo converted ba. Just a couple of questions. Where is the map sensor located and how do I get to it? I will be hard wiring the new sensor, is it true that the wires need to be mirrored? Cheers
  5. Hey I am just after the bayswater auto number Thanks
  6. hey guys, I recently turbo converted my n/a ba falcon. I re routed the heater bypass to supply my turbo for water. Everything is fine except that my heater takes upto 15-20 minutes of driving to start heating up. Then when I change back to the cool setting it still stays on the warm air. Did my water line re routing affect this?
  7. Hey guys, I took my car for a test drive straight after my turbo conversion without the heatshields on, I got some bad luck and a tranny cooler line blew off and the fluid spilt everywhere and caught on fire on the hot exhaust manifold. I ended up using the fire extinguisher, but now all that fire extinguisher dust is stuck on the manifold and wont come off with degreaser and high pressure cleaning. When I drive the dust starts cooking on the manifold and I need advice if its possible to wash off? cheers
  8. oh ok I will thanks for the help, but if pipes were cracked wouldnt I be losing boost? im still boosting normal to 4.5psi and not losing power? cheers
  9. hey guys, I recently bolted up a turbo setup to my ba falcon, so far its been running really good, the only thing I noticed now is that for some reason I started getting a loud air induction sound around 2000rpm just before it starts to boost and its not the spool sounds im talking about. I can't hear this sound in neutral though and I have checked my turbo for any symptons and it seems fine. Any help to what this is? Thanks
  10. hey, thanks, well its just been sitting open in the garage, the banjo bolts have been screwed in the whole in the turbo inlets though
  11. hey guys, im about to put in a turbo into my car, which has been sitting in my garage for the best part of 2 years, I got it 2nd hand but was still new then, will there be any issues that I should be worried about?
  12. hey guys, I need someone from Melbourne that is confident to tap and drill my engine sump to connect my factory turbo return line ASAP. I don't want to go to the mechanics as they are charging me from 300-400 on labour work to remove the sump, drill and put it back in. Cheers
  13. does the engine sump on a ba falcon contain a gasket? I am about to remove it to tap and drill it, but I am not sure if I need a new gasket or not... cheers
  14. hey guys, I need someone to recommend someone that can tap and drill my sump for my oil return line asap in melbourne cheers
